When walking in.. it was the weirdest atmosphere we have ever walked into…
It had a eery feel about it…
Service wasn’t the best if I’m honest!
Bar maid probably was new and didn’t seem to have a clue about customer service!
It felt soo awkward in there and very out dated
We sat down and had to question if we should stay even for the drink,
We decided too because no where else was going food at 18:40 on the area.,
Order the food, menu was very over priced for steaks ect.. £3.75 approx for a steak sauce haha
If you wanted surf and turf you had pay £7.95 approx extra
Lmao steak with sauce and scampi was nearly £40!
I order chicken burger and asked if the onions are on the burger/ with the salad..
you don’t get salad you only get lettuce and tomatoes
They did say they would put some on..
but I had ask for salad being onions lol
We were at this point worried about the standard of food,
HOWEVER
The food was really nice!

Good food portions very good
Drinks very well priced. Food priced fairly and all home cooked and very tasty. Portions generous. Restaurant was very hot, asked for a/c to be put on which went off within a few seconds, had to ask again but was put on lowest setting, so still very hot, so unfortunately we had to leave. If not so hot & a/c was better we would have stayed for more drinks.
Food excellent ! Will be back today at 1pm for my Sunday lunch. Mandy attentive , brilliant service and would come see her again. Thanks guys

We are now regulars for Sunday lunch because it is superb! The choice of meat, size of plate (sm, med & lge), vegetables and potatoes are cooked amazingly. The price is very reasonable and staff are very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend The Northfield to anyone.

Great value for money, very tasty - 4 clear plates testament to enjoyment.
Stayed at Withernsea last week and used this restaurant twice. On both occasions the food was excellent, with good vegetarian options. Also the meals were very good value for money, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.
