Fabulous little place, we called there for a meal before heading off to a gig. Lovely atmosphere, very laid back and chilled, there was an outdoor seating area with lights and comfy seats.
The gentleman serving behind the bar was very friendly and polite, was recommending different ciders to me and our food was out very quickly.
I got the seafood platter which was amazing, prawns, calamari, crispy fried whitebait, smoked salmon and garlic bread. My dish came with tartare sauce and a little mixed salad which was refreshing and crisp.
My partner got the home style chicken burger which he loved! He particularly enjoyed the chips.
Our two mains, along with a cider and a lager came to £36, so excellent value for such good quality food.
My one issue would be that the bathrooms are very much in need of a facelift but that's my only gripe.
We only stayed in Uxbridge for one night but we've already decided that when we go back, this place is our first stop for a meal!

Charged me a fiver just to come in. If there was a live band or a half decent DJ I wouldn't mind, but there wasn't a great selection of drinks, and most of the clientele seemed like wannabe gangster types, dripping in gold chains and fake designer clothes. I ended up paying over £7 for a run of the mill beer and leaving, just as security were dealing with some Eastern European troublemaker. Not really my kind of bar.
The head bartender is always warm and gives good customer service.. the main seating inside is comfortable..the only thing id say is the outdoor seats need a cover due to wear and tear but one of my favorite places in Ealing
This is a really fabulous place. I was there for the comedy on Tuesday and the atmosphere is really nice, and the staff are so lovely and friendly. As well as cocktails they also do a selection of nice hot drinks. Here is a picture of my hot chocolate - it’s actually vegan (although I am not. You didn’t need to know this ????).
Don't usually give 5 stars, but it's worth giving. I have known this pub for decades, how it's survived the covid and recession I'll never know. However, I was with friends, and we had a great time catching up while staff service was excellent, and food drinks were outstanding.
What a throughly enjoyable afternoon... From the moment you walk through the doors Ruby (Staff) was so welcoming; ambience; child friendly (my grandson); comfortable; AND, the food ???? delicious and fresh ... My family and I would definitely return and highly recommend. THANK YOU ????????

Very good quality drinks and amazing price at £7.50.
The outside area is super comfortable and secluded although it's right on the street. Inside the pub is rather special...lots of sumptuous leather seating, a lovely bar and it's spotlessly clean. Service here is fantastic, friendly and efficient. Don't judge this book by its cover, it's surprisingly fab all round.
Food is also well priced, a good size and decent quality, definitely coming for another visit! Comedy on Tuesday nights as well.
A simple tavern located in a modern building. Geared for the nightime and dancing. A selection of keg beers on offer but not a place for lovers of the cask. Plenty of food on offer and looks like it would fun for a party. Loads of outside seating. A welcoming place.
