Jen is awesome! I wouldn’t want to go to anyone else! If you’re thinking of getting your hair done, whether it’s keep the same style or try something new, Jen can do it. It’s also a beautiful salon with a nice vibe. Love it!

This past Wednesday was my first time at The Lake Salon and I had a wonderful experience and haircut. Upon arriving, I was welcomed by Jen, who was warm and friendly! I shared with her that I was planning to grow out my hair so I wanted a short trim with layers. Jen did an amazing job and styled my hair with subtle waves that looked so natural. My boyfriend kept complimenting my haircut the whole day! Thank you, Jen! I’ll definitely be back again and will try her other treatments. :)

The Lake Salon, owned and operated by Jennifer.Stanley, is simply superb. Jen is by far the best hairstylist I have experienced in my 10 years living in the Rochester area. I have a particular cut I like and Jen is able to render it perfectly. She also did my eyebrows very well. She is a lovely person and a pleasure to spend an appointment with. Jen and her husband own the building so her overhead is low and she is able to offer extremely competitive prices. I will never go anywhere else!

I can’t speak highly enough of Jen's salon. Jen is the definition of perfection when it comes to haircutting for Asians. She finds really good balance and gives the best advice every time. She is a magician! I’ve been getting compliments as a result of her work! Plus the salon is super clean and Jen is very friendly and patient. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend it!!

This was by far the best experience I've had with a hair dresser. I had an idea of what I wanted, but don't know much about hair coloring. Jen was very welcoming and helpful as well as honest with what would look best and be best for my hair. I put all my trust into her and ended up absolutely loving the results! Having recently moved to Penn Yan I'd been looking for the right place to go to get my hair colored and I hit the jackpot with this salon. I definitely plan to become a regular at this salon until I move elsewhere.

I made an appointment after reading an article about the salon shortly after it opened and have not regretted my decision. Jen is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and talented. I am able to get an appointment in a timely fashion and during my appointment I always feel special and pampered! I have very thick, curly hair and Jen has never let me down after a cut and color. Jen is a little gem hidden in the Finger Lakes! I look and feel so awesome when I leave. It is like having your very own private hair salon. Never had a bad haircut or color, always looks so natural and done professionally! Well worth the drive from Rochester. Highly recommend!

Jennifer is incredibly warm and talented. I LOVE my color! I left with the most natural blond highlights. Her hair cuts are awesome, and she is quick and efficient. I took my two young daughters to her too and they felt like superstars. Her prices are very reasonable.

During COVID, a huge positive for me is that there is no one else in the salon other than you and her (masks still required).
