Thankfully only stayed one night. The place is completely run down and in need of total renovation. Better still somebody should put it out of its misery.|No restaurant or bar facilities , carpets in corridors are filthy, not been decorated for years looking at walls and paintwork. |Won't ever stay again.|Only plus was the staff were very friendly but I think you need a really cheery disposition to spend any time there.|Come on Premier inn get it bought and start from scratch again.
Bit of a unfinished feeling to hotel. Nice staff. Not servicing food when we were at hotel so ordered food instead. In one room TV controller didn't work and no keelt in room. Hallway smelled of damp.
Absolutely disgusting. Should be done for false advertising. NO BAR NO FOOD NOTHING. EVERYTHING GRUBBY AND DIRTY. KEEP CLEAR. Carpets dirty, furniture well worn and tatty. Bedding and towels have a funny idoit. YUK YUK YUK
You get what you pay for with this place. We only stayed for 1 night and definitely wouldn't have stayed another. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were flat. The whole place could do with a massive touch-up. The restaurant/bar was manned by kids who were more interested in their phones than in serving. We ordered food which was from the taste of it from a local Chinese, the chips were flat and very salty. We got a refund on our breakfast as did a lot of other customers. Some of the reception staff were spot-on and helpful but overall we couldn't wait to get out. They also advertised a swimming pool and spa but none of these was open.
No pub or restaurant anymore as it’s now used to home permanent guests. Basic but clean, very tired and in need of plenty of repairs. The permanent guests should be disclosed to prospective temporary guests as a courtesy. We stayed and heard multiple arguments through the walls, this used to be a really nice hotel and pub. Other guests checking in at the same time were also shocked.
Absolutely disgusting hotel, not enough characters to fully review this hotel, do not I repeat do not stay at this hotel, complaint gone in with booking.com and full refund requested, checked in at 6pm,checked out at 6.25pm.
I have stayed here a few times over the last couple of years. This time I thought that the place has really gone down hill. Sort of ski slope proportions!
I noticed that there were single mothers, perhaps displaced people occupying the rooms on the ground floor.
The lift is out of order, but the voice in the lift is continuous.
I was allocated a third floor room, where the toilet seat is hanging on for dear life!!
There isn't any positive thing I can say about the front of house staff. They are devoid of any personality in a hospitality sense.
Stayed because I thought pub on site and able to get an evening meal and breakfast.even thou a cheap price for a room.|Found out on arrival no pub closed not used, no food on site. No breakfast disappointment as most places for accommodation have breakfast options not these, also rooms where tired needed a good renevation .room was clean just tired.|Will I stay again answer is no would I recommend no.|Also located on a busy road , noise through out the night (traffic noise). ||
