Paid a visit to The Pig’s Wings at The Glentanar Bar as part of the food firms residency at the bar. The food was really good - especially the Boar B-Que sub, not to mention the Hotwurst - however this hot dog is pretty spicy!! Try out the chicken wings and the loaded fries, you won’t be disappointed. A great place for a pub lunch or if you’re looking to grab something quick.

Live on Union Grove and even if I didn’t, I would make the effort to come here.
The staff have always got a smile on and give you a good conversation.
Normally local pubs can be a bit cliquey, but every time I’ve been in, everyone chats with everyone.
And it’s very dog friendly!!!

Couldnt pay with cash! First time in my 60+ yrs on this planet a bar has refused actual money. You need to get Export back on draught - the current selection of ales is poor. On the plus side, the barmaid was a gem. Very helpful to us.

What can I say about this fabulous local bar that hasn’t been said before!? It is super dog friendly - we love to bring our puppy in for socialising & playtime, also some much needed naps! And he gets special doggy treats on every visit from the wonderful staff too.
