I always have a wonderful experience at the Glossary and it is definitely the place to go to get your hair done! I took a very long break from getting my hair done and Jaylene has been my stylist since I started back in June! She is so sweet and caring by always making sure I was comfortable throughout the service - since I tend to be quiet when I am in a relaxing mood, especially in the mornings. Plus she always does an amazing job on my hair! She was so accommodating with my last minute change to go lighter during the last visit and I absolutely loved how my hair turned out with her recommendation!
I was so so excited to try this new salon, but when I left I hated my look. I asked my stylist to trim up and even out my curtain bangs and add a tiny bit of shorter whispy pieces to the front. She instead gave me straight across bangs with a chunk on my right side that was cut so short it sticks straight out and isn't framed at all. I told her before she started cutting that I have a cowlick on that side and to be careful of the length, but she did not. She even said while styling my hair "why wont this piece lay down?". For the color I wanted to lighten my hair but keep it natural looking and have any highlights blend and not go to the root. What I got is cute, but nothing at all like what I asked for. I lived with it through the weekend trying to get myself to like it, but I'm really disappointed in the outcome.
I always go here to get my hair done with Bethany! She is an absolutely amazing and talented stylist. If you are looking for somewhere to relax and enjoy getting your hair done, this is your place!
Hattie is so sweet, knowledgeable, and patient in explaining exactly what our plan was to get my hair to how I wanted it to be. I already have my next appointment scheduled with her and I'm excited to go back!
This was my first time at the The Glam Room South as I had always gone to the River Market location. Since I moved, I wanted to be at a location closer to me and was thrilled to see a location in OP! I was immediately impressed with the atmosphere and vibe of the salon and they gave me a drink menu to have for during my haircut. I had Paris, who was very sweet and did a fantastic job at cutting and styling my long hair. I would definitely book her again as she really did a great job at listening to what I was looking for with my cut and style. Plus, they were able to fit me in for an earlier time which went very conveniently. I will definitely be back to The Glam Room South. Good to know I have a reliable place that I can relax and feel beautiful in. Thank you!
Decided to go out on a limb with a salon I've never used and couldn't be more pleased! As soon as you step inside, you're greeted by a clean environment and friendly faces. Not to mention a talented staff that gave me exactly what I asked for! If you're looking for a salon near you, give The Glam Room a try!
Asked for an angled bob with layers. Was told she didn’t do stacked bobs. Received a straight across bob with layers. Tried to hold my composure as I left the place. My haircut was not what I wanted. It’s cute but definitely not the haircut I wanted or asked for. It’s not my style.

They called me and asked to fix my hair! And I’m so grateful! The new stylist they paired me with did amazing. There were no tears! Grateful they were willing to fix my hair at no extra charge to me! And understood why I was unhappy! It was a much better experience!
Paris was absolutely amazing! I am not skilled in taking care of my hair and usually go to great clips, but this experience was worth every penny! They styled my hair beautifully and made me feel important. Definitely coming back
