Loved the tots but the porterhouse chop could be bigger and juicier and tender. So, didn't like the chop but the sauce was good.
Service at the bar was pretty good considering there was only one bartender for about 20 at the bar and tables.
Loved the multiple levels of deco and games.
While we got here too late to eat (close to 2300), the bartender was very nice in recommending other places that would serve food. The patrons, who looked like some of the older locals, had their heads on swivel as we walked in, so I waved, said "hello," and received like in return. I wish they were serving food that late because it certainly seemed like it would have been a good time.
Stayed in Hotel next door. Called to order Potato Skins. Pretty complicated right? 10 minutes they will be done. Perfect. 10 minutes later in restaurant, nothing. My order wasn't even turned in. I left. Called back 30 minutes later, no Manager? No Assistant Manager either so they said. Another employee then informes me Potato Skins take 20 minutes to make sure they are cooked? So if someone orders an appetizer, you will get an entree quicker than Potato Skins? Yeah Right! Quality Restaurant! Not....
We stopped in for dinner on our trip west. Our server was very friendly, but she made a few mistakes on our order... nothing too bad. The service was a bit slow because the place was busy. This is a classic small town western saloon with easy access from the major highways in the area. Give it a try!!
Great time on Monday the 28th for brunch for us. Bombshell the Bartender was very entertaining. Don't remember the cook's name but he was very helpful with the take out order of Mountain Oysters! Didn't even know you could get those anymore... So I decided to surprise my husband. He was very happily impressed and ordered more to go. My pictures don't do it justice. It's a really cool place to visit. According to Bombshell, for us older classic rock fans, the Foreigner Band was patronizing the place prior to and after their concert(s) there in Casper WY
Ordered take out to the hotel next door. Handed our order and left only to get to hotel to see only half the order and no condiments. Called back and the guy says “ oh umm ya I guess there was two bags”. When asked for ranch for the fried pickles we were informed they are out of ranch ???? Food was nothing special and high priced.
20 minutes before drink order was taken.
Another 20 minutes for dinner salads to arrive, one with wrong dressing. It was returned, no replacement ever came. Another 30 minutes for meals to arrive. Pork was and chicken were sawdust. Salad ordered with dressing on the side was dressed and drowning, rotten berries.
Two tables were left with dirty dishes the entire time we were there.
When waiter was asked to speak to management, no one came to our table.
Head banger music, loud volume.
The place was scarcely occupied.
Meals, and I use that term loosely, were barely eaten and were comped. Another table was left with barely-eaten food.
The food was horrible, the service horrendous, the atmosphere uncomfortable.
Eh. Not very good. Felt dirty. Asked for no tomatoes and got tomatoes. Server knew his error and didn’t fix it. Low quality. Weird vibe. Not it.
