I recommend this hotel, good balance price/quality. The location is at an acceptable walking distance from the White House and metro is nearby. For a visit of The Mall and the musea, an hotel near the Capitol would be better but probably more expensive. The rooms are nice but a bit small, especially the bathroom. The restaurant at the hotel has a good kitchen.
This hotel is clean and centrally located, and I really enjoyed my stay here during a conference. There were lots of good restaurants around and it was nice to explore the area.|In particular, Karima and Safy at the front desk went out of their way to make me comfortable. Their excellent service made this a great stay.
We arrived in town tired and ready to relax. Nakia and Victor were very personable and accommodating. They made our check-in seamless, just like we need it. The area has public street parking after 8:30 pm with plenty of restaurants and night life walking distance.
Great hotel, well located, breakfast is excellent and Aziz is smilly and very nice. We came here for congress and it was a very nice experience and surprise. Really didn't expect this the Gym is open 24 hours with all what is needed. Really great.
My family and I stayed here during the holidays and had a great visit! It's not in the middle of the main tourist attractions but we considered that a plus. Located in a safe and walkable neighborhood. Room was spacious and clean. Lobby and reception are very nice and designed well. Staff were very professional provided excellent service. Great coffee shop next door. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again!
Great location, service, and rooms. I've stayed here twice for business and highly recommend this hotel. It's quickly become my favorite hotel. The rooms are larger and comfortable. The front desk is always ready to serve. Love the little restaurant/bar area although sometimes service can be slow. I stayed here solo and with my family. They even upgraded us for my son's 7 month little celebration. Brought up a pack n play and made sure we were very comfortable.
Anyway highly recommend booking here.
I would like to thank the staff, in particular Miss Safae and Miss Nia, for their exceptional kindness and ability to immediately solve problems. It is a very nice and well conducted hotel with a phantastic location. In particular, you can take a bike without additional fees and have an ecological sightseeing tour! I would recommend The Darcy to colleagues and friends!
Positive: The lobby, bar area and restaurant are great! The location is perfect for visiting the city. Happy hour was excellent, the drinks were delicious. We also had a yummy breakfast on Sunday morning. The wait staff at breakfast were so friendly. Negative: While the lobby is beautiful, the hallways are dark and kind of scary if Im being honest. The rooms are just average- nothing really spectacular. Front desk staff are cold and unfriendly. The internet didnt work the entire time we stayed. Negative: ""
