Best KPortal Reviews
We had a really fantastic evening meal at the Crown on Tuesday 23rd April . We made very welcome by both of the landlady's and by the customers. The menu was great and so was the food. Whitebait as a starter and a main, which is my favourite starter. Both of the courses came very quickly and were professionally presented and were absolutely delicious.
The drinks too were excellent especially the local real ale.
It turned out that a new ladies clog Morris side would be dancing later, they were brilliant, and afterwards they had a music session in the pub which we were invited to join , at which we played and sang too. In all a really brilliant evening in a gorgeous country pub. We highly recommend it.
Called in whilst passing and felt like we'd found a real gem. A warm welcome and fantastic freshly cooked light battered fish and chips in a traditional village pub. What's not to love. Wish we lived nearer so it could be a regular stop.
The burger was cooked to perfection, friendly staff and lovely quiet pub. Desert was presented beautifully, the fruit used was fresh and sweet. Overall a nice little place to have a relaxed afternoon and I'm leaving with a full stomach ????
I popped in and had a meal in here when I was cycling between Bromsgrove and Hay. I had a lovely hearty steak with a nice pint to wash it down with. I was a little bit early but the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Not much atmosphere and not dog friendly but beer good and friendly staff
Lovely country pub in a beautiful village setting run by the community.Good beer and good food...what more do you need.
