One of the best fish and chips I have ever had! I went with some mates and got the haddock and chips for £10. Considering that the four of us split two of those meals between us and were filled, the price/food received ratio is very cheap. The food was well done. You could tell that they replace the oil regularly. The fish was perfectly fried and was not oily. The chips were large.
3pm on Easter Saturday. Popped in for some chips. Chosen by viewing Google maps. Lovely tasty and fresh chips. Benches outside and a small bit of parking, which is handy. You can have a sit down meal with pots of tea if you want. I will gladly return.
Handy if you're travelling towards the centre from the east.
I required a vegetarian / Halal option fish and chips, I therefore contacted the shop and they made me Fish and Chips in vegetable oil, fish and chips were nice, would highly recommend this establishment, took their time out to meet the dietary needs of their customers. Anyone requiring Fish and Chips in vegetable oil contact the shop beforehand as it takes approx 20-30mins for them to prepare.
First time here, chosen because of good reviews. All I can say is some people will eat anything! The fish was very wet & transparent with very thick gloopy batter & the chips were soggy. Won’t be going back!
Beautiful fish, chips and curry sauce and a lovely pot of tea. Well worth a visit. Staff very friendly and a welcoming atmosphere.

very rude woman serving. extremely impatient and no warmth whatsoever. threw my small fish and chips straight into a bag with no tray! had to go back in and ask for. very poor service
Was given totally the wrong order, when phoned back to inform them of their mistake I was told I would have to return their mistake that they were aware of in order for a refund. Why couldn’t they refund my card over the phone which i was asking for.
Have previously been very happy withThe Bluefin but due to the slight hostility I received will never be returning
