We gad a Sunday roast here, and I was surprised at how good it was. Inside table space is limited, so it's worth going either early or late.
Took a while to que up to order, but once we had the food came quickly.
The vegan roast was amazing, probably the best roast I've had. Lots of veg, potatoes, and a delicious roast. Was very filling.
Long, long queues whenever an event is on. Coffee and food is good and toilets are clean, BUT some reorganisation is needed to allow quicker service.
We had a very nice lunch here. Coffee good and the building is beautiful with lovely far reaching views and garden vistas.
A little pricey. £2.40 for a small cappachino. Normally there are lovely cakes and scones to tempt you but it was just before closing that we went for a drink and a warm up. When the weather is fine, sitting outside is a joy, the views are fabulous.
On the day I visited there was many people there as a flower show was taking place. The staff were excellent, they were working hard on ensuring that all the visitors were made to feel valued hence the four ???? rating. Food was good, albeit it was only sandwiches, but nevertheless tasty.
The restaurant has amazing food, it is a till service to que and order food then waiters bring food to you such as salads, lamb, soup and fish cake. All beautifully presented and tasty. If you go on an event day be prepared to que as it is very busy!
A really good Sunday roast. I had the pork and my partner had beef. Perfectly cooked. Not what you would expect from a garden centre. Top rate, well worth a visit.
Good standard of food for a restaurant within the gardens. Range of cakes, childrens lunch boxes, and cooked meals. Plenty of indoor seating and a large patio for the warmer weather.
