Very bad experience. Don't keep the promises
When I come for car checking, the staff said it is free if charge, unless do the fixing. I ask again: any charges for checking? They said no
After checking, they check something need to fix, but I decided not to fix now. They say they spend some hours on checking and charge me £.
Even I think it is fare to charge for labour, but the staff are dishonest or no keeping promise on what they said.
Disappointed and never trusted. Good lesson for me. They earn some £ and bad reputation.
Strongly not recommend.
New clutch required. Left car with top core while I was away for three days coming back on the Friday. Phoned myself on Wednesday to tell me the car was ready. I payed the bill which was fair and said I would not be back until Friday night late. Great service car was clean all worked well and my car was parked outside my home and keks through the letter box. Thank you so much will be back. Norman n
I would not recommend this garage to anyone. I asked them to inspect my gears as I was struggling to select gears and when I collected my car the speedometer would not work and I had 3 different lights on my dashboard which they refused to look at as it must be a ‘coincidence’ because they didn’t touch my speedometer. When I lifted the bonnet to look in the engine bay there was plastic components which have been smashed and broken. TCR garage in Winlaton have damaged the plastics in the engine bay, they have also broke the speedometer and relevant sensors to make the dashboard lights come on. To top it off before I left the shop the lad said ‘good luck driving it we haven’t even had it on a lift’
Used for the last two years for mot and service, no complaints on work done, costs were good and staff pleasant
