whenever i visit this place i always take bakery from here but today am really disappointed with the triangle cake they were not fresh taste and can see the small black dots which looks like mould.
Totally irresistible Chinese bakery.
Everything made freshly daily
BBQ pork bun, curry bun, coconut roll, custard bun the list of freshly made products goes on and on and on.
Cakes available and made to order too.
Drinks available too. Bubble tea ????
Eat in or take away.
We visit frequently 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
When I ordered the birthday cake and wanted to bring it home they gave me this bag to carry the birthday cake. How are they professional???
Good place if you look for some Hong Kong’s authentic style bread and cake.
Awful experience. Avoid at all cost. Ordered 4 bubble tea which cost £14.50. 3 were strawberry and lychee and 1 was mango and strawberry. It was just water plus a strawberry/ mango powder with sugar a few pieces of ice which you can barely see. Not even cold. Not even mixed properly because you can still see the powder at the bottom. Staff attitude are very rude, difficult to understand a simple order.
Terrible disgusting impolite customer service, especially the old counter lady was shouting to the couple let them out coz it’s only allow 2 persons in the shop at a time.
Price raised but size gone smaller.☹️
Quite expensive now but the quality is better than it used to be, and as long as you go on a weekday the cakes and buns are probably better than you'll get in Chinatown. Weirdly the weekend bakers aren't as good. You can get yesterday's buns at a cheap price as well, they will bag them and sell them the next day.
Don't expect English customer service i.e. fake smiles all the time. The ladies in here are not English - they will treat you the way an East Asian mum would! That is, ask what you want, take the money, end transaction. It's not unfriendly but it's not like they're trying to be besties either.
I think they prefer mask wearing right now but not sure it's compulsory for service. The time people here are moaning about bein told to leave was during the pandemic and there was a huge sign on the door saying "two people at a time" so... Maybe read signs ????
Was an utter disappointment 10 years ago and has got worse today… cocktail buns (coconut buns) are terrible, dry bread, dry coconut filling, and at nearly 2 quid a pop?? Poor service, and the staff seem more concerned with saving 20p for a box by squeezing as many items into one box as possible when clearly a second box is required… especially given the extortionate price per item I think a box each would still keep the business in profit… AVOID AT ALL COSTS THE WORST EVER!!
