A nice little kosher shop with a good bakery which we make sure we visit everytime we are in Newcastle.
The chap on the till could be more polite, but it's a nice shop to visit if you're in the area.
Fabulous bakery love coming here as there is plenty to choose from. Everything is lovely and fresh. The cakes are delicious and taste so much different. The bagels and bread are really fresh. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

As a visitor, I love coming to Gateshead's iconic Stenhouse! The range of products is fairly broad for what you'd expect, and the shop is easy to navigate. And if you don't know where something is, or if you've got a question about anything in the local community, the staff is more than ready to assist you. Obviously, it can't compare to the Jewish shops i'm used to in the US - but this is a whole different league. And I quite enjoy it when I visit Gateshead.
