Best KPortal Reviews

My experience at the Starbucks cafe in York was disappointing due to the exceptionally rude employee. From the moment I entered, their dismissive attitude and lack of customer service were evident. Despite my attempts to engage politely, the employee seemed uninterested and even responded curtly. It's disheartening when a visit to a familiar coffee shop becomes tarnished by such unpleasant interactions. I hope Starbucks emphasizes customer service training to ensure a more welcoming atmosphere for patrons in the future.
This location doesn't allow you to use the Starbucks app at all, you cannot collect or use points or pay via the app. In our experience this is very unusual, and I don't think the customer should only find out about this after placing an order. The drinks and food were fine. The service was not welcoming and was minimalist, questions were answered as though they were a chore. There were very few customers during our visit, unusual for a coffee shop in central York. There are many options very close by, (including another Starbucks which was better and cheaper on the day). We won't use this branch again, because it's poor in comparison to any other coffee shop we've used in central York.
Two staff working - one friendly and professional, one looked like they couldn't be bothered and was very blunt when speaking to us - not so much as a please or a thank-you, and seemed annoyed to be tasked with preparing two very simple orders
The best part was when we were invited to "do your own milk" and a massive bottle of cold semi-skimmed was plonked on the counter for us to add to our coffee. Kind of makes you wonder why you're paying a quid more than the independent place around the corner (which was closed the day we visited, sadly) ...
Save your money and support one of York's independent cafes instead
Various stuff.anyone welcome .clear signing and a great specials menu

So I live in York, and it was my second visit in here, quite liked the atmosphere the first time but...£4.70 for a small pumpkin spiced latte with cream! I mean seriously!?? Not sure if that's the standard charge across all Starbucks recently as I normally venture into the Starbucks at Foss island, that price is absolutely ridiculous and if that's the case across the board i won't be back to any of them!! Frosty service at the till also!
