Lovely food. Had a mixed starter then the chicken kebab and sea bass with risotto for main. Decent portions. All very nice. Will be back next time we are in the area.

Friendly staff that serve delicious meals. Probably best to make a reservation as it gets quite busy.

It's not our first visit. Just perfect. Lovely meals, brilliant service, quite and peaceful small restaurant. Also very clean. If you love Greek food it is definitely your place.

Visited for uncles birthday at end of January, enjoyable meal with quick service however large portions.

We dropped into the Socrates restaurant without a reservation and fortunately they had one table available.

We were made to feel welcome immediately and the two lovely ladies who were on duty could not have been more helpful.

They obviously enjoy their job and it really showed.

My wife had the pan-fried Sea Bass and I had the Athenian Chicken sizzler.

The portions were very generous and the food was excellent.

The restaurant is simply but tastefully decorated and we loved the fact that the background muzak was very soft. It was enough to give an ambience without being intrusive.

It was a lovely evening and if we ever visit Morpeth again, we will be back.

My son booked a table for my birthday on a Thursday night. The food was superb. Good service. We will definitely be back. A big thank you to the chef and front of house for making my birthday so special.
