The level of service you receive here is a disgrace. The sour woman on reception was nothing short of rude, someone who absolutely should not be working in a healthcare setting. I was misdiagnosed as being asthmatic ( I have no history of it at the age of 26) which resulted in me developing a severe chest infection. This was then quickly diagnosed by my GP who agreed on the fact this shouldn’t have been missed. Please do not bring your children to this centre, they cannot be trusted with their health.
On an Easter Saturday this was the only support available. Reception lady was first class, triaged within 15 minutes and seen within the then advertised 90 minutes. Staff seen were caring, professional and responsive.
I visited the walk in centre on Saturday and couldn't fault it. Greeted by friendly receptionist and then after waiting about 20 mins was seen by a nurse. She was lovely, extremely knowledgeable and advised me to go straight to A and E. I was diagnosed with a severe infection and sepsis. So thank you to all involved.
Would give 0 but not possible. My daughter was misdiagnosed here again yesterday. Fobbed off with wax build up when she infact has a perforated eardrum and infection as diagnosed by a doctor today. Absolutely disgusting service.
My sister had the unfortunate experience of meeting one of the medical professionals who decided it was completely appropriate to publicly berate her for attending the clinic, simply because our mother had tested positive for Covid, despite my sister being negative, displaying no symptoms, wearing a mask, and informing the check in desk as a precaution as soon as she arrived.
Imagine being a large, overweight man and choosing to loom over a small, mild mannered young woman in the middle of a waiting room to aggressively proclaim how she should not be there and how selfish it is to have endangered everyone else, despite NOT having covid. What an unprofessional and inappropriate display of intimidation.
She was then ordered into a tiny room and left alone for 40 minutes with no updates or information on whether or not she would be seen or when.
She had no legal obligation to stay home, wear a mask, or inform the desk. That was done out of pure consideration on her part. Also, her injury DID need urgent attention, she required treatment and multiple follow ups at 2 different hospitals and is still receiving treatment at the second.
No patient deserves to be treated that way and no medical professional has the right to talk to another human being, let alone injured patient, with that outrageous level of disrespect. I have informed the CQC.
Very impressed with this walk in centre lol ess than a hour and my husband was seen too very professional staff in there
Lengthy wait times for no reason. Staff chatting in the back while waiting room was full. No sense of urgency and rude receptionist.
I was seen here by lovely and friendly staff working a late shift. Only had to wait about 30 mins in total for triage and consultation and was prescribed medication immediately. Appreciate this service so much as I struggle to get GP appointments to fit around my full time job. Thank you!
