First time bought fish and chips from here. Good sized portions, fish was really good. Great price, we really enjoyed them. Will definitely get them from here again ????
Good value product - chips a bit more well done than my liking, but still good. Fish was tasty, well battered and meaty. The service is friendly. The shop is small but everyone is accomodating. Great selection of seasonings and sauces
Decent little fish shop, old school. They do a fish and a few chips for £4.60 as of Dec 2023 which is great value as you still have plenty chips. The fish are generally really good, sometimes the chips could be better.
If you live in the area there used to be a fish shop called locally the wood hut, still exists but been renovated and new owners those when the original owners had it were the best ever but Shears is my current go to.
It's a small, traditional, family run,very friendly. great food,amazing prices Haddock and chips £5:50 good portion size..huge menu choice. Cooked fresh while I waited . Definitely recommend.
Small family owned Fish & Chip shop. Just bought a fish on Christmas Eve for £4.00 (I can't believe it's so cheap btw). And let me tell you, it was the best fish I've ever had, and I really do mean the best, better than Mother Hubbards or Harry Ramsdens. A beautiful chunk of pearly white haddock nearly an inch thick, superb crispy batter. Bloody lovely ????????.

Just been to this delightful little fish and chip shop, the young lady behind the counter was full of smiles and a breath of fresh air to talk to, full of banter! Had fish and chips and have to say took me back a few years to how we used to have them, cooked to perfection, highly recommended to anyone in the area!
These are some of the best I've had, and by far, the best value for money. There is a great choice of other dishes as well.
