I’m a bit surprised by all the negative feedback here. I’ve been twice. The first time I needed an over-the-counter medicine that a pharmacist needed to ok. That was provided with no fuss. The second time I needed a prescription for my son filled - done in 5 mins. While the service is not over-effusive, it’s business-like and simple. Does what it needs to.
If I could give 0 stars I would. This pharmacy shouldn't be allowed to open.
I was told by the man at the counter that my pain didn't matter. He was extremely rude and useless.
The pharmacist then told me to take my prescription "3 times a year for 5 days" I said "what?" And he then tried again this time saying "take three a day for 5 years" let the man retire, he's clearly senile.
Also I don't know what farmacy closes for a lunch break but I had to wait in pain for 30 minutes, no other local pharmacy does this even if they lack staff.
I have never experienced such bad customer service. They are rude and extremely unhelpful. I ran there to pick up my emergency prescription which was delivered there by 111 way before I went. I had to give my details 5 times and they kept saying they didn’t have it which didn’t make any sense. I called after I left when I got on the bus and I was already 10 min away just to double check and now they seem to have it and they tell me I need to be there in 2 minutes since they were closing and the guy kept shouting on the phone. I will never get anything from there ever again!
I wish I could rate this pharmacy 0. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for a year, but the man who works there has been consistently rude and unhelpful. I have gone in to collect prescriptions and each time I have received poor customer service. I once went in there to get smoking cessation advice and the pharmacist was totally disinterested. I would avoid this pharmacy at all costs! I have now asked for my prescriptions to be sent elsewhere.
Never picks up the phone even though it’s a local corner shop chemist, I rang all day even left a message on voicemail- no response in 24 hours. Also has no email address so you can at least email them - very unhelpful for a person especially the elderly and disabled. They need to address this if they want to get business.
So unbelievably rude. Horrible service and attitude. Dont waste your time here.
Wish I'd read the reviews before walking over here to pick up a prescription with a code that said I could go to "any pharmacy"... Was told "oh we don't do that here.."
So any pharmacy except this one then.
Would have been nice to have shown some sympathy to an ill person given there's no time to get to another pharmacy before closing time.. guess that's too much to ask these days.
Get my statins from here, they are quick to get the prescription off my gp. No concerns yet. Often quite friendly too
