Poor service from staff.
I came back to edit the 1 star I gave because there’s more to this place than poorly behaved staff. There are also good people. And the shop is packed with variety. There are vegetables, fruits and spices that are not local. Variety of fresh meat as well.
So when I HAVE to, I go there to find things I can’t find in shops nearby.

I have been coming to this supermarket for a long time. It's always packed with really interesting food. There are smarter looking versions of the same type of supermarket that have opened up nearby but to be honest i still come here as there are are always staff willing to advise me on specific products and brands. Whilst mainstream supermarkets sell items such as pomegranate molasses, tamarind, sesame oil, tahini, fresh herbs etc. in small quantities at a hugely inflated price you can come here and find far better quality and value for money. The owner (I think) doesn't speak good English, but he is helpful and honest
Overpriced. Be careful especially with some fruits. I have bought one piece of water melon (it looked good for me), but when I cut it at house it was obviously not fresh at all (it was in the freezer and sure couple of days out in the store), even the green skin from inside lookd shrinked. It had cost me around 15£ and I thought it into the rubbish.
Get there with 15 minutes before the stated closing time, just to be told “we are closed”. Maybe change your opening times or have the main door closed so no one can enter.
Just have to wait for the supermarket over the road to open.
Do not rely on this place being able to put credit on your electricity key while out of 'regular business hours'!!!
4 out of 5 times there's some problem or other, what makes it worse is a more than regular 10 minute (minimum) wait only to find out they can't do it!
British Gas should be far more careful where they force their customers to get credit! Rediculous! British Gas should be ashamed...
The supermarket is good, yet the guy with a mustache ( probably the owner ) is adding extra money to your receipt and if u caught him he will act like that is a mistake, it happened many times and he is not even apologized. Be careful
Great place to get halal meat. Butcher is very helpful and will cut pieces according to your liking.
Good variety of items in store along with a reasonable 2£ minimum card payment. Poor decor to be expected of a high street store. Main problem is the staff who don't seem all too attentive or kind especially this one (slightly heavy) woman.
