What an amazing find. Told of this restaurant by a friend and travelled from rugby. Well worth the journey party of five of us despite being above trendy local pub restaurant was an oasis of peace great acoustics meant conversation was easy. Very pleasant and efficient service. Starters all different were amazing with great taste and artistic flair. Mains were also great. Beef was huge and cooked to perfection didn't leave enough room for sweets Now my favourite restaurant and will obviously be back. Amazing to find such a great restaurant in Burbage which after all, is such a small village. Thoroughly recommended
We have never been to this restaurant so decided to book for Saturday night. It was a great choice. Food was really well cooked and presented. Staff attentive and professional. Will be back to try other menus throughout the year. Highly recommended.
Very disappointed after hearing really good reviews. The restaurant could do with a good dusting as cobwebs hung from the ceiling and the plastic plants. The guy taking the order was surly, never smiled, the food average and the waitress attempted to take away our sauces mid meal for some reason. Won't return unfortunately.
Have visited twice, 1st time was great 2nd time even better, my husband and i both thought it was the best restaurant meal we've ever had, one of our party had specific dietary needs which were happily catered for. We are mow planning on booking to sample the taster menu.

Visited after hearing and reading excellent reviews. Food was ok and service from different members of staff was either intense or completely disinterested. I'll be honest, I'm disappointed that it wasn't better!
Been here several times now with work and for family do's and every time it has been perfect. The only downside is you have to book so far in advance. But you know what they said good things are worth waiting for. ????????????
Restaurant Twenty Six is perfect, it provides fantastic food and sublime service. In my opinion it shows great promise, providing both better food and service than Ashfields, a local award winning restaurant. Restaurant Twenty Six is definitely verging on the award winning, it cannot be far off a michelin star or a bib gourmand at the very least, however I'm convinced that the sterile service prescribed by michelin would kill some of the charm of the restaurant. The hardest thing to decide about Restaurant Twenty Six is whether the service or the food is better. I think that when a restaurant is daring enough to serve an appetiser, starter and main all containing the same key ingredient, and then actually pull it off and produce three distinct yet delicious dishes theres definitely some kind of magic in the kitchen.
