Got a mince pie supper from here and was in bed unwell for 2 days. It was dry and soggy like it was cooked in a microwave. Will never use this place again.

We had an excellent Fish and Chips from Ralphs last night.
It was roasting HOT and the fish was fresh, thick and perfectly plumply cooked.
Not overcooked! Some others over crisp it and burn away all the lovely fish oil.
Some undercook slightly and it's a soggy mess.
It takes real skill to get it crispy, tasty and ???? hot.
As for the chips, pretty good but I want them crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, double blanched.

Got a lovely Fish & Chips delivered from here via Deliveroo on 11/6/23. Decent portion size, well cooked. Would happily order again and recommend to others.

Service and food is great when Ralph's on, but disgraceful when it's Kim. Reheated chips at start of dinner service, pizza burn around the edges but cheese not melted in the middle. Couldn't eat half of it

Great chips! Steak pie was a little undercooked, if I go for a deep fried pie I want a crunch. To be fair it was near closing and it was cooked fresh. If it wasn't so near closing and there was one already on the hotplate, this place would've got 4 stars.
Ordered home delivery two weeks ago. Was great. Special fish was lovely. OH said hamburger was great too. Hadnt had a chippy for ages and this fitted the bill exactly, delivery time was great too. Social distancing adhered to and I put cash in a new poly pocket to minimise infection risk.
