Please don’t allow your insurance company to send your car to this garage. I had a non fault accident and I’m normally fussy over back street garages and I was completely correct, when I got call to collect vehicle it was a absolutely awful experience the paintwork didn’t match the panels was not aligned and the rear light used old screws and didn’t fit body. Fast forward 8 months of calls and emails the car went to car hospital in Birkenhead and they wrote vehicle off as the repair would of exceeded and the previous repair from r2u was terrible even the quarter panel wasn’t fitted correctly and started to flake on paintwork
Repaired my Mondeo after accident, paint job was fine. Everything else very poor. Forgot to repair my registration lights, cheap rear sensors fitted and used gaffer tape and stuffed behind boot liner. Not heard a thing since complaining etc.
R2U I had to pick car up, they should have delivered it. Will never used again Oh charged my insurance company £5500 for rear bumper replacement.
Shocking from start to finish. Repairs delayed for 2months with excuse after excuse. Finally told I was welcome to drop my car off but no courtesy car, despite having a courtesy car on my insurance. Explained I had fractures in my back and I was told my car would be collected. Finally collected my car, still no courtesy car. More delays when they had my car. Then told my car was ready to collect, despite them being already made aware I was disabled and supposedly offering a delivery service. Disgraceful, nominated by my insurer for the repair, I’m now in dispute with my insurer as I refuse to pay my excess to when I’ve receiving such an appalling level of service. Not recommended at all!
Really professional and friendly. I had a really easy and stress-free experience with this company as they picked up my car and dropped it back off to me as well as taking the hire car with them so I wouldn’t have to deal with the insurance company again. They also kept me up to date with the repairs and my car was returned in perfect condition! Couldn’t recommend them enough.
After a single telephone call our car was picked up the following day, no dealing with insurance companies and made us feel at ease. Management looked after us with extreme professionalism and car was delivered back in immaculate condition after 7 days. A true stress free experience, would recommend using this company for an outstanding service
I was disappointed with the courtesy cars received. The first courtesy car was a 2021 plate car but when I collected the car there were empty coffee cups in the passenger and driver doors, a used face mask on the passenger floor and empty drinks bottles on the rear floor. Whilst driving the car would constantly beep and the traction control light would flash, even when the car was stationary. Whilst on the motorway, the steering wheel shook and was unstable. When I returned this vehicle I was told that there was a known fault on this car and I shouldn’t have been given it. The second courtesy car I collected was also messy with empty drinks bottles in the glove compartment and plastic wrap/ paper on the passenger side floor. It seems that courtesy cars are not cleaned between passengers at R2U, which is more worrying due to the current pandemic.
I had to ask several times for an update on my vehicle as I was not informed of delays with sourcing vehicle parts and often messages were ignored. Despite this, the repairs to my vehicle were excellent, but I would have preferred not to have to correctly reattach my pillar (photo attached) myself or have to re-feed the wire for my dashcam into the seams of the pillar.
Recently had a vehicle repaired by the team @ R2U, couldn't have happier with the service! They came to my place of work to assess the damage as I couldn't be without the vehicle for work reasons, once the quote was agreed they provided me with a courtesy car and communicated with me for the the whole process of my repair. Genuine company with high standards and great customer service taking hassle away from a usual painstaking process! Thanks very much.
£589 quote for 3 thin pencil line scratches 3cms - 3.5cms - 4cms! Took approx 2 weeks or more to get the quote and wanted the car for 5-7 days!
I have had more quotes and the costs were lower than £200 and £187! very reputable companies as well. Obviously didn’t want the job as too small so quoted ridiculous price. I used this company 5 years ago and it was great - what’s happened to your prices and customer service?? I have also put this on google reviews as not good at all!
