* Service charge for adults 80 pence, kids - 40 pence for eating in ( which I understand/ don't mind ).
Clean and nice place to have you lunch or dinner. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Pay parking right behind it. Free toilets for paying customers only ( there is a free public toilet a minute away ).
On a recent holiday to Mablethorpe we tried a number of fish and chip shops and this was the best by far. The food was the most delicious & the staff were the friendliest too. We couldn’t fault it & if you’re looking for a good chip shop whilst in Mablethorpe, I recommend Queens Park Fish and Chip Shop
So good we went twice! We parked our Motorhome in the car park at the back of the chip shop and hubby ran in for the fish and chips. They were cooked to order so extremely fresh and crisp. Scollops were lovely too. Next time we are in Mablethorpe we will definitely be back!
Lunch time Special : Very good. Chrispy batter over skinless fish. Good chips.
Almost perfect. (peas let it down, wifw said curry sauce good)
Excellent value for money
Great British fish and chip shop with a lot more to offer , plenty seating area outside , where we sat to eat ours having the special fish and chips with mushy peas in a tray . Very reasonably priced even though they are in the best place.
Mablethorpe town is a lovely little place to visit for a day plenty of things to do for children and parents, the beach is stunning with beautiful flat sand that were relatively empty. Note ,hoping you like dogs as there were loads on the beach running free with owners walking behind.
We had the managers special, fish and chips with mushy peas. Very good value, lovely chunky cod, a very generous portion, piping hot, would like to go back one day, when we visit the area again.
Had a few days' break in Mablethorpe, and wanted fish and chips one lunchtime - would highly recommend Queens Park! The fish was beautiful! The peas weren't to my liking (a bit tasteless tbh) but regardless, I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again. Everything is cooked to order, and they take card payments which is helpful. There are seats inside to dine in, or bench seating outside, plus it's right next to the beach
Fish and chips was nice
However, I don't understand what the big deal is over the toilets? Surely if someone has chose to spend money with you whether they are eating in or taking out then you should be gracious about it.
Yes I am aware that there is toilets across the road but with them being on a steep hill my disabled husband would struggle to walk up it and because we had a dog with us we couldn't eat in and the same rule applies on the outside benches. Maybe think about putting a 30p charge to them so customers can decided if they want to use them or not
I just find these signs so arrogant and petty...
