I contacted the pharmacy this morning and spoke to Josh. I’d had some medications stopped suddenly by my consultant and experiencing significant side effects from the sudden stopping. Josh was very understanding and so helpful on the phone. Really taking time to listen to me before he passed me along to his colleague Shilpa the pharmacist for some detailed advice. Thanks to these two wonderful people my medications have now been amended safely. Thanks again Josh and Shilpa you were both amazing today.
Came to ask about my daughter’s acne. The male pharmacist I spoke to was very informative and understanding to my daughter’s needs. He gave some very good practical advice to my daughter on how best to manage it. I can’t thank him enough.
I have used this pharmacy for many years, and in the last 12 months it has really gone downhill to the point that I can no longer use them.
In the last 12 months, I have had three occasions of them not dispensing all of my medication, on one of these they insisted the computer said it had dispensed the medication so I needed to get another prescription, so basically calling me a liar. I have had 3 occasions of them not having the medications in stock, and rather than contacting me to discuss this, they just put an iou in the bag, so I don’t find out until I collect the medication from the machine, on the 3rd occasion they didn’t even bother to put an iou in the bag, I had to go in to find out what had happened. I have also had one occasion of them dispensing the wrong strength inhaler, it was half the strength it should be, this could have had very serious consequences if I hadn’t noticed, I just about got a muttered apology, that showed just how unbothered they were by this despite the medication being signed off my both an assistant and pharmacist neither of whom could have checked the medication. Last week I received a message to say my medication was ready for collection from the machine, however I hadn’t ordered any medication, so I called the pharmacy and explained this, and was told it was probably for someone else, and that she would check the machine, I assumed wrongly as it turned out, that if it was for me they would call me back, they didn’t so I didn’t think about it any further. I went to collect my medication today, and found that again I was missing an item, I went in and spoke to the manager who told me it was out of stock, as mentioned about they hadn’t bothered to put an iou in the bag. I went through the above and stated I wouldn’t be using the pharmacy any more as there were just too many mistakes happening, the manager then said that they had an item on the shelf for me, this turned out to be the item that I had received the message for the previous week. I said you told me that was probably for someone else, and the manager said no you said that, so lied to my face telling me I had said something I hadn’t, i couldn’t be bothered to pursue this part any further and instead I asked why she hadn’t called me back and was told because the pharmacy had closed when she worked out what had happened !! I explained that was last week and again asked why they hadn’t contacted me, and again was told the pharmacy had closed, so I tried for a third time for a sensible answer and said are you telling me that if a customer contacts you about something that doesn’t get resolved until after the pharmacy closes that day you don’t bother calling them back, again I got told the pharmacy had closed, and then got a half hearted apology. I finished by saying that really summed up their attitude to customers and left.
So in summary, I have been given the wrong strength medication, not given medication ordered, accused of lying in a roundabout way. I have been lied to by the manager, and they couldn’t be bothered to call me back about medication that they discovered was in fact mine. I won’t be going back again.
I have used this pharmacy for the last 2 years and have seen how hard they work. Even under pressure they are the friendliest people you could meet, always willing to help. They always go out of their way to help you and make you feel at ease with whatever queries you got. I recommend this pharmacy wholeheartedly.
We have used this pharmacy for many years now. They are always polite, kind and helpful to us!. Our family unit needs a number of medications and nothing is too much for them!. Grateful to them all!.
Have used this pharmacy for many years, staff have always been friendly, efficient and accommodating when needed. My mum used to get her medication delivered ~ great service!
The pharmacy in 2020 was incredible, lovely staff and always super helpful! But new people in the pharmacy and wow what a difference! I opted to use the machine, but rarely got a text and my order was usually missing something! So a member of their staff suggested delivery, that threw up new problems. I waited for tablets and after a week rang only to be told that they were out of stock. I was also told “it’s the patient’s responsibility to chase prescriptions as we don’t have time to let you know”.
This time when I had a query about my prescription, rang up the pharmacy where their machine told me I was caller number one for 1.5 HOURS!!! The staff are impatient and very disorganised! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
They are pretty good to get the medications on time, and the collection facility provides a convenient option beyond regular opening hours.
