People have complained about being fined for using the car park. The notice is very clear about the conditions of use and if one does go in to use the bathroom then get a takeaway coffee and get a receipt. You can then prove you were not just using the facilities. That's cheaper than the fine. Good food, quick service and reasonably priced. Basically like the good old fashioned truck stops.
Lovely to find this diner on the A303 on our way home from Cornwall to Godalming.
Too many Starbucks now on this road.

i will not return to this place as for the following reason.
I have today also been fined £60 from the parking company after spending 35 min having a coffee break and not seeing the signs. I explained to them that this was a genuine error i my part, but they would not remove the charge . I will not return to this place again which is a shame for them as i drive past it twice a week
What a rip off. We stopped and had a reasonable brunch. Weeks later received a parking charge notice even though we had entered the car reg on their pad when we are there, this is disgusting.
As their telephone was not answered I wrote to the manager stating the facts and later he phoned and apologised and Steve said he would contact the Parking Firm and arrange the cancellation of the fine. Today he again phoned and confirmed it had been cancelled. Full marks to the manager for the way he dealt with this, but such a distressing thing to get a fine when we had been good customers. Food and staff were good but with the parking problems we will not stop there again.
Pleasant atmosphere, good service, nice food. There was a wait to be seated but you don't mind when the food is good, this was my first visit and I'm sure I'll be back again!
Would recommend without hesitation.
Stopped for a cooked breakfast and it was really good.
Freshly cooked lovely bacon and sausages I also had the fried bread which I would not normally have and not at all greasy just right.
And a nice mug of tea.
Always stop here when passing. Nice, clean family run business. Much nicer (and less expensive) than Starbucks who seem to be the only other alternative on the A303.
I have visited this diner many times now with my family and have always been highly satisfied, with the standard and quality of the food served here
I have always been impressed with the high standard of cleanliness,the range of the menu, how quickly you are served, and the kindness of the staff.
I look forward to my next visit there which will be soon.
