My recent dining experience at pizza pilgrims was simply wonderful! Diego and Walter (pizza chefs) and Andrea the manager provided outstanding service, making sure everything was perfect throughout my meal.
Now, onto the pizza – it was absolutely delicious! Every bite was a delight, bursting with flavor and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
In summary, for a memorable dining experience with exceptional pizza and outstanding service, pizza Pilgrims is the place to be!
Exceptional pizza! The reason why my review isn’t a 5*, is because the service really let us down. We were waiting ages to be served and found most of our time being spent on trying to get a staffs attention. However it’s in a great location, food was worth the value. Desert can be shared as it’s quite large. Only a few mins walk from Canary Wharf station. Gets busy, so definitely reserve a table!
I came here for a quick dinner after traveling for work and was in and out in 25 minutes. Partly this was because service was fast, but mainly it was because the pizza I had was so delicious I couldn't eat it quick enough!
I had the nduja pizza with a side of garlic and herb crust dip and a coke, and honestly it was divine. Almost a week later and I'm still thinking about it - and hoping that on my return trip to Canary Wharf I can go again!
Definitely try it, it's worth it.
I attended the pizza masterclass with my girlfriend and we really enjoyed it! I thinks it's a great way to spend time with your friends and learn a few skills. The team was really welcoming and Diego, the pizza chef, was incredible. He answered all our questions and gave us a lot of tips on how to make a proper Italian pizza. The secret is ....you have to go to the masterclass to discover that! Maybe something that could be improved is to give to the participants a full recipe and all the steps to follow to make the dough. Diego was amazing as we asked him very specific questions about the dough and he gave us all the tips we wanted, but it would be nice if that was an actual part of the class.
Came here for a team lunch. the pizzas here are around £13-£19 each.
There are special pizzas every month. I ordered the Capricciosa. It got everything I was hoping for, ham, artichoke hearts, olive and lots of cheese. The dough was soft and al dente. The topping and everything else is very juicy.
The service is really good. They forgot something for one pizza we ordered and they just gave us another pizza for free.
There are many vegetarian and vegan options.
It is a really good place for team lunch and gathering. There is an outdoor area it will be a very nice and family friendly place to chill in Canary Wharf area.
We tried their January vegan special and it’s definitely an interesting one. It’s white pizza base so different from your usual pizza. Enjoyed the balsamic glaze on top.
We also ordered their fritto misto and garlic bread.
Loved the Italian cherry soda drink.
Absolutely AMAZING place ! Pizza were very very good, one of the best I have ever eaten (and I've eaten a lot of pizza + been to Roma, Italy).
Drinks were good, dips were delicious.
But the staff, OMG, they were some of the friendliest ! Justin was so sweet and kind, we had a really nice time eating there.
We'll be coming there again and recommend this place to our friends for sure !
We tried the Dough It Yourself Pizza Masterclass and I need to say thanks to the amazing service, the friendly staff and their Italian energy for making this evening an absolutely fantastic experience. Diego has guided us through the pizza making with his jokes and personality just putting smiles on all of us. Also, Valentina has been attending us and managing the team in a very professional and friendly way, excellent service Valentina! Thank you ????????
