This place is under new management. I walked in and the service was great. I ordered the 4 in 1 pizza combo which comes with two boxes of chips and drinks. I picked 4 different flavours and waited 15mins for it to be made which was reasonable. He gave us a generous amount of sauce and it was steaming hot and smelt great. The chips were delicious with the garlic mayo. The pizza was delicious. I would highly recommend this place. One thing though they burnt the cheese on top of the pizza
Ordered at 7:55 it's now 21:43 and still no order. Rang the shop multiple times to be told its leaving now, an hour later called again for them to say the same thing. Spoke to me like rubbish, no customer service skills, I used to order 3 times a week without fail not ordered in a while so thought I would give it a try. Safe to say I will not be ordering again. Absolutely shocking attitude when I called up.
If the delivery time stated over 2 hours then I wouldn't be leaving this review maybe you need to update your delivery time on the platforms.
The food at pizza cottage is always fresh and tasty. Unfortunately the delivery times are ridiculous. I ordered my food at 19.18pm and it was not delivered until 21.35pm with no extras as compensation. I am quite upset by this and although the food is good I feel that I might take my custom elsewhere.Such a shame.
100% will always recommend pizza cottage. The pizzas are best around by far!! Never once had a bad meal. We have a big family ( 6 ) and we get the pizza 4in1 deal. Superb deal! Everyone is always full after and still with pizza left! Great customer services and speedy delivery. The owner and his wife are top aswell as everyone who works there. Get ordering people you won't regret it ????????????
WOULDNT RECCOMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY
was told our food would be delayed so due to us going out and not being able to wait too much longer than the expected time and we would like to cancel our order (we called within 15 mins of making the order)
the staff member on the phone was rude and abusive for no reason, refused to refund us our order and put the phone down on us multiple times. kept telling us "I'm busy so you need to stop ringing" (we called once , he put the phone down on us, he called back only once more)
it took for me to have to ring up just eat for them to Investigate the situation, they lied to just eat and told just eat they had made our food and it was already on the way, because he knew we would only get 50% of the refund if he said that.
we never recieved said food that was apparently on it's way.
I then recieved a text from just eat at around 10pm last night to tell us our order was finally cancelled, bare in mind we ordered originally at 7pm.
I can completely appreciate they was busy, hint why I would of just prefered to cancel due to the fact I had a taxi booked by 8pm and my food was due at around 7.45 and I was told it was going to be delayed. I want rude, yet recieved so much abuse for absolutely nothing.
massivly disappointed because we have used pizza cottage alot in the past and their food is lovely, but definitely not giving them a penny of my money ever again ????
Not to mention the vile reply a family member of mine who had the same issues with them had on their just eat reviews.

Ahhh...after the change around I ordered a takeaway last week and it was amazing. The kebab with Donner and shawarma was amazing....I put some details in the notes about the salad selections on the items and a note to send a new menu...none of those were picked up... but hey ho....
Tonight I ordered again....same kebab but not shawarma but large chunks of grilled chicken....no menu as asked in notes..and no other options noted....step up guys
Just ordered today....1.1.21 and wow ...absolutely perfect. What a team! And great, hot food!
My partner ordered food to night at 7.18pm it didn't arrive until 9.32 having to wait Over 2 hrs is disappointing and no complimentary extras or discount as compensation for the delay leaves you wonder whether you may have got it elsewhere Quicker and just as good . Shame as the food is hot and tasty.
Avoid this place. Complete rip off I ordered a 2 12inch pizzas previously that cost £12. Today I went and ordered one 12 inch pizza and the guy decided to charge me £10, even though the one he gave me is priced below that. The pizza wasn't that great either so not only was I ripped off, I ended up with a not very tasty pizza.
