Looking at the other recent reviews I can see that it's not just me that has had a terrible service here. I have been getting my repeat prescription from this pharmacy every month for about three years. Prior to the recent takeover it was well run and the staff were polite and helpful. However, the new regime is utterly chaotic. The staff haven't a clue what they are doing and no-one seems to be in charge. Waiting times are ridiculous, despite the fact that they have about ten people wandering round behind the counter. I phoned up the day before to let them know I was coming in and they lost my prescription and it needed two of them to root around in cupboards for twenty minutes till they located it. The worst part is, that they don't even apologise for the shoddy service and talk to the customer like it's their fault. So, I moved my repeat prescription to another pharmacy up the road. I think when Pharmacy Express lose enough customers they might take a look at themselves and improve the service. I won't be going back though.
Honestly, terrible. Must be about 10 people who work there at a time but yet everyone is served one by one whilst everyone just float around doing nowt. Poor lad on counter has to deal with all the impatient customers who spend 40 mins in there to buy some over the counter meds.this could be much better run if he was able to serve a customer and someone else other than him dealt with it whilst he served the next person.rather simple. Could reduce customer wait times by half at least ! Also might as well take your number off google ... you never answer anyway. I’ve only ever gone in for OTC items but thank god this isn’t my chemist. Never seem to have the items and always forget something t or don’t deliver it when they say ... and then the people have to come in to complain because YEP the phone isn’t being answered !
Terrible service since it has been taken over- I want to give zero stars and trying my best to find something positive about the experience- I noted quite a few staff working although very slow service. 5 people walked out while I was waiting -and all complaining , people were queueing out of the door - I changed for the delivery service and with previous owners of the chemist, never had an issue. Used this service due to being vulnerable due to treatment I was receiving… since the new owners I have nothing positive to say- having treatment for cancer I was expecting medication which was not delivered, I ended up with severe pain and withdrawals as medication not delivered. I had to go to the chemist to track the medication while immuno compromised and difficulties with mobility. This happened the next time as well- visually the shop looks very untidy and a lot of complaints were voiced while I was waiting- I won’t used this chemist again - and would not recommend this to anyone! disappointed at this experience! Avoid if you can
Waited 20 mins for a prescription ordered a week before to be told pharmacist is on lunch.
Had it delivered , sticker said deliver with wife’s . She’s still waiting for hers. Would not recommend at all
My doctor changed my pharmacy to pharmacy express as they deliver and my GP said they are dealing with prescriptions better during covid-19. I collected first prescription there and they put me down for delivery. Friday 24th April my GP prescribed new medication and passed this through to pharmacy express. They delivered today (27th April) and I asked while the guy was here if they had zinc and vitamin D as my partner is cancer patient and has to avoid being out in sun so advised to get these. I couldn't get them at Asda or anywhere local and due to lockdown didn't want to be tripping around. So while having my prescription delivered I asked and he said they did and would pop round later. He came back bout 1 hour later with them. Not dealt, ever, with such an efficient pharmacy. What a pleasure. Fantastic service. Thank you.
Since it changed hands gone to pot. They've had my wife's prescription for over a week & still not delivered despite 2 phone calls
I'm now without medication. They don't answer the telephone at all. Prescription was sent on 30/12, so even with bank holiday should have received it!!!!
Since the practice changed owners in November 22 the quality of service has reduced considerably nobody answers the phone anymore I will be moving to another chemist.
