Used to think this was best Chinese takeaway in area, there chicken curry n rice is to die for easily the best I've had. But to tell you the truth though there chefs special chow mein is bloody awesome. Just don't get it with the prawns in it there vile, prawns should not be slimey

Wow spare ribs in barbecue sauce, supposed to be a starter. Was full after eating them. ???? Then the chicken curry ???? ???? with egg fried rice awesome just the right amount of spice for the kick in the mouth.

Stayed in Portsmouth on our way to the Isle of Wight, problems with the train meant that we didn't get to our hotel until after 9' 0clock and it was Sunday ???? both of us very hungry and we had no transport, so google told us that the peninsula would deliver, ordered 2 x king prawn with green peppers in black bean sauce and 2 portions of rice, driver arrived in no time, took it to our room and was very pleased with what we had, piping hot with plenty of very good sized prawns, green peppers and a very nice sauce, rice was lovely too, all for less than 20 quid including delivery. Saved our lives as we had to get straight on the boat next day....highly recommend The Peninsula!! Thank you!
Probably the best Singapore fried rice I have tried in the country. It was so warm and well seasoned!
Awful! Chicken fried rice has no flavour, the chicken is completely bland, there’s black bits around it, I was suppose to receive prawn crackers with my order. Didn’t get any. Don’t recommend
Love this takeaway. Very friendly staff, always deliver in a reasonable time and the food and portion size is epic. Any requests or slight changes required to the dishes is never a problem for them, which is great. The food is always pipping hot as its freshly cooked and full of flavour. My only one niggle, is that the sweet and sour sauce is way too thick, its more like a jelly than sauce. You have to spoon it out of the container as too much can end up over powering the other flavours of the dish. Other than that, my favourite Chinese takeaway in Portsmouth
