Absolutely disgusting food. Chips were hard as nails and soaked in oil! The fish was not in batter, a really weird texture, soaked in oil. Visited the area for the weekend. Very disappointed and stay away!
This was a delightful surprise! We got fish and chips takeaway from Pendre on a Saturday evening while visiting Cardigan. It was some of the best we’ve had in a while — fresh, flavorful, not too greasy. Very nice staff as well. Highly recommend!
Food very greasy and hard. Water down curry sauce.. Expensive with what we got. The chips seem to be re heated
I lived in the south coast for many years and had some of the best fish and chips around. I’ve tried most of the others around this area, but I have to say this is probably up there with the best. Clean, tidy, friendly and the food is second to none. 5 ⭐️
Popped in for a take away, excellent clean establishment, what impressed me the most was the staff were all suited and booted, all looked very dapper in their uniforms, and so friendly, cod and chips was very nice too, non greasy, highly recommend whilst visiting Cardigan
Well stopped to get fish & chips and Pie & chips. Let's start off with the chips, 6/10, OKish. Now for the fish, no batter on the bottom of it! Now to the pie, I ordered a steak pie. Now after driving about 5 miles up the road and stopping to eat it. Just about to eat it and the top come off, not a problem, until I looked inside and it's a chicken pie!!! Now not a problem for some, but I don't eat chicken. So pie wasted, money wasted. No I did not take it, my loss, but this should not happen.
Quick service and delicious cod. Plus, open on Sundays when many other shops are closed. Staff was lovely as well.
Best fish and chips had in ages. Staff very friendly and prices are reasonable. Highly recommend
