Absolutely appalling and disgusting racist behaviour from black people. That woman came in there stealing, she then attacked him when he tried to remove her from the store. You all saw this but you did not care about any of that, you just saw a brown man and felt extreme hate. Ive noticed that black people are extremely racist to brown people in the UK. I am curious as to why you believe you are a better form of life compared to them? Do they not feel, breathe and live just like you? You all talk about the racism you receive but I highly doubt the majority of you have ever come across it in your own lives. It seems to be Brtish born black people showing this racism, the African and Caribbean immigrants dont seem to be bothered at all. You should all be ashamed of yourselves you hateful disgusting people.
Saw the lady getting strangled by the owner. I would never shop in a place that condones such violence. Nasty people running a nasty business. Shame we can’t give it zero stars.
If you decide to shop in a place that assaults unarmed women go for it. But definitely check your change before you leave. Before the horrific incident happened in the store in mid September 2023. I use to pop into here to get products. Twice I was short changed and had to go back and argue my case. Luckily 2nd time I hadn't left the store. The final time I purchased from there a young girl and her friend were in front of me. She clearly paid the man and was just waiting for receipt and change. As she was waiting she was talking to her friend. She then turned away from her friend and the man ask her to pay again. Which of course left her confused, before it could go any further I interjected and stated she had clearly paid. Lets pull up the CCTV. He just smiled sheepishly, mumbled whatever and gave her, her change and products. I was digusted and just left my items at the till and popped into another hair shop on the street. Definitely will not be entering or purchasing from King's and Queens, formally known as Peckham Hair and Cosmetics, for many reasons.
Owner likes to strangle black customers, read the articles. Do NOT spend money in this shop. He’s now renamed to kings and queens beauty supplies!!

The most expensive shop out of all the other shops on that stretch of road. Some of the hair you buy are so old and still charging a heavy price. Bought one too many packs which wasn't needed.
They don't do refunds altho bought back in same condition. They don't tell you or advertise no refund. Its only when you either go back or check that you have the right receipt, you find it states it on there. Go to the shop next to primark on same side.The staff are nicer and a lot cheaper.
