When in the area it's our go to place for take out fish and chips to eat by the sea. During day time visits it has always been cooked to order. Great quality and taste. Pricing competitive. Eat in is an option and I'm sure delivery is to (please check)
We were on a caravan rally locally and required 20 portions of fish and chips. Superb value, hot, fresh and crispy thank you for making the evening a success.
Delicious fish and chips. Chicken mushroom pie is also good. Many people wait for takeaway. Cash payment only shop.
Nice and lovely haddock and chips I had, I found it tasty and enjoyable. Good treat after coming from the seaside.
My only complaint is that it was very unclear what the total price was and it’s cash only so it can be awkward. I had medium fish and chips and a medium chips and I expected to pay £8.20 but I was charged £10.40 not sure how.
Great tasting fish and chips, fresh and top quality and a regular portion was Huge! (See pic of my half eaten fish) Would have given a 5* rating, but they don't take Card! ???? I hate facilities that don't take card. It's obvious VAT dodging. Luckily a cash machine is nearby. I couldn't enjoy the food at the restaurant due to covid restrictions but stunk out my car instead! ...was worth it as I ate every bit!
Without doubt, the best fish & chips in Thanet. I drive from Westgate because they are so worth it ❤️

What a find! Food cooked fresh to order, batter used was a rich golden colour and perfectly crisp. The battered halloumi was delicious and the cod used was moist and fleshy. BUT a word of warning! They don’t lie when they say a large portion of chips is large,easily feeds two with spare and would do a young family of four - so many chips!!! Shame we were on holiday and not locals, Palm Bay would easily be my choice as local takeaway.
