Una simpatia nata spontaneamente dopo un incontro casuale sull'uscio del locale. Eravamo in quattro ed è bastato uno sguardo tra noi per conferma. Abbiamo prenotato e non ci siamo pentiti! Zuppa di ceci strepitoso, si distinguevano i diversi sapori. Gli altri hanno provato cacio e pepe per la prima volta e si sono leccati i baffi. I secondi gustosi ed abbondanti: straccetti con rucola e Pachino e la classica saltimbocca alla romana. Un Tiramisù che ci ha...tirati su! Ambiente casalinga ed amichevole, un perfetto finale di una giornata di turismo e teatro. Ottimo!
A casual encounter with the owner on the Doorstep was all we needed to decide to make our reservation. Excellent chick pea soup, cacio e pepe, straccetti with rocket and Pachino tomatoes and the classic saltimbocca. And of course, TIRAMISU, that really 'picked us up'! Home cooking at its best and friendly personnel! A perfect ending to a perfect day of sightseeing and theater. Wonderful!
No ricomendo... Ho ordenato il piatto speciale del giorno, agnolleti ravioli 12 euro con appena tre ravioli, troppo poco. Alla fine Siamo andati a mangiare qualcosa de un'altra parte. Anche alla fine ci chiedono se vollevamo limoncelo. .. Pensavamo d'essere gratuito, come da TUTTI altri ristorante: 5 euro ???? ???? ???? habbiamo pagato... Triste!
Ahh no dimenticare che devi pagare anche il service.
Io rispetto alle altre recensioni metto più stelle, perché oltre a mangiare con prodotti casarecci, in un ambiente accogliente dove si respira la vera Roma.. proprietario molto cordiale e simpatico. Ed i prezzi valgono quello che si mangia. Lo consiglio!
Siamo stati qui un anno fa e abbiamo fatto una recensione super. Questa volta siamo rimasti molto delusi, non tanto per il cibo, sempre buono, ma per i prezzi. Il costo del vino è esagerato rispetto alla qualità medio bassa del vino stesso. Ci rincresce dover dare un parere negativo questa volta e purtroppo quando torneremo a Roma, mangeremo altrove.
We were here a year ago and gave a super review, but this year we were very disappointed, not about the food, which is always delicious, but about the prices. The price of the wine in particular was exaggerated with respect to its average quality. Sorry but we have to give a negative review this time, and the next time we come to Rome, we'll be eating elsewhere.

I'm struggling with this review as I rarely give 5 stars. But it's hard to find fault here. The food was on point. In particular, the gnocchi with mussles was simply amazing. In fact all the food was very good, even the deserts The staff was friendly and very helpful. And the jazz music as we just put the evening over the top.
