On holiday and googled chippies near by on our way back to our hotel and Ormsgill Chippy came up.
The lady who served me was friendly.
We had two fish and chips. The fish batter was really think which meant it wasn't cooked all the way through and was really soggy where as it should be crispy on outside.The chips weren't much better either being soggy. We were starving after a long day out so ate it all. All in all disappointed with the food.
Great service the lovely ladies who have run this place for so many years were so friendly. Food was lovely and freshly cooked. The prices were fair and quality was great. Many thanks!
Gotta be, if not the best chippie in Barra, very friendly staff and whatever is ordered, there's a Ship load. Been visiting this place for 20+ yes, so I'd say I had a little knowledge of its capabilities ????. Very friendly atmosphere, always a crack on the go (no drug reference intended, just cos it's the Gill lol).
