Visited for lunch today and had the mixed Shawarma Meal deal wrap and it was amazing. The food was tasty and hot and nicely presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. I will definitely be visiting again as this meal deal was excellent value for £8.
I got the a chicken shawarma wrap and a cup of tea. First of all prices were great, the wrap costed 5£ and the tea 1£.
I liked the bread a lot.
However the wrap contained a lot of salad and very scanty chicken. The wrap was cold as well and I supposed this because of either being previously prepared or the lots of cold salads in it. The tea was also flavored which I don’t like and I would prefer if this was clear on the menu before ordering..
What a hidden gem this place staff are really friendly and couldn’t do more to help I ordered a mixed grill and lentil soup was easily enough for two excellent value everything was cooked to perfection would definitely recommend I will be back with friends and family
A lovely place hidden away in the city of York. Great food, very flavourful, tasty and well presented. We ordered the mix shawarma (chicken and lamb) and the mix grill with half rice and half chips. Everything was served hot and fresh and didn't take long to arrive. The atmosphere was wonderful and it was a family friendly environment. Excellent customer service by Tshering and Shalo who both served us and explained the menu in detail. The owner Rebaz was very hospitable and checked in with us to ensure everything was ok. He was very friendly and approachable. A very good dining experience and would definitely recommend.
A fantastic place with sufficient dine in area, hidden in the city of york which serves delicious shavarma. Tried their chicken shavrma wrap with chips and drinks. The taste appetizing, the major higlight was their freshly made nan bread. They had a variety of sauces. Worth the price. Good customer service.
The food is both delicious and fresh, with generous portion sizes; however, one item was missing. Nonetheless, I am highly satisfied with the excellent customer service. They graciously offered me complimentary items and promised to include them in my next delivery. I will definitely be ordering from them again.
Beautiful shawarma hands down best in York with a great seating area. I normally go for the chicken it is always seasoned to perfection and the fresh bread is unreal definitely check this place out if you’re in the area. Amazing food at cheap prices
Such a lovely and peaceful place to eat. Reasonable prices and delightful and delicious meals, very warm and welcoming staff! I'd say that's the best donner/shawarma you can have it in York!
