at 5 pm on a Wednesday they had neither fish nor CHIPS ready cooked! I was told 10 minutes to wait for chips; sausages had been in the hopper for goodness knows how long; and the "staff" put a third of a bucket of chips in the fryer. If they're not going to run it as a viable business, move out and take their cash only trade elsewhere! A truly dismal experience and will not only go to Mick's now. At least they're not surprised to have customers!
Fantastic fish n chips best in town...clean and friendly staff
Very friendly service. Called to make order and was ready for collection within 15 mins. The 'large cod' did not have ends as we expected. As in crispy ends you can break off, rather it was squared off so that was a bit disappointing but it tasted good and we enjoyed our meal. My daughter enjoyed her curry sauce and the chips were fine. Would use again.
A very clean establishment. You don't mind waiting a while to get freshly cooked fish in crispy batter. We love the pots of curry sauce to pour over the lovely fluffy chips. Definitely recommend.
Oh my cod they do pineapple fritters and they are delicious so crunchy and juicy I love them.
Excellent fish & chips. Very busy as it was a Friday night, but not too long a wait. Cheerful, friendly staff. You can ring & order in advance to collect.
Great looking fish, not the usual soaked, but light and crisp, with a fresh taste. Friandly and enthusiastic staff, thanks for dinner folks!!
Excellent freshly cooked haddock & chips still hot when we got home as always. As with most things nowadays the cost of living as now affected price. Still excellent value.
