Been in half an hour ago. Batter so crispy and light. Fish cooked to perfection. Ordered large cod with large chips. Asked for open to eat in my van. Box lovely and big Best fish and chips I've tasted in years. Keep up your high standards
We visit this place first time and we very happy with our food order. We got large fish&chips. Chips where very nice and fish was lovely. Cook fresh to order. Definitely we would recomment this place. Reasonable price for good food and large portion.
Update: we visit this place after 6 months and it change owner since them. This time sadly have to give just 4 stars. Food is not 5 stars anymore. This time our fish was kinda greasy and also we found fish bone in one of the fish. Also we try order chicken nuggets and sadly nothing special. Typical frozen nuggets like from mcdonald.
My partner and I drove to this establishment. After 08.30 PM, just before they closed last Saturday evening. We ordered Cod, Chips and 2 Battered sausages. I ate the sausages.
The battered sauages looked like they had been under the heater a long time, as the batter was a dark brown in colour.
12 hours later my stomach self emptied, both ends. This bares the hallmarks of food poisoning. My partner did not suffer as she didn't eat any sausage.
Avoid, Avoid Avoid!!
First time using, owners were lovely & chatting, I had fish & chips very nice not greasy.
Husband had savaloy & chips, that was very good too. Savaloy not boiled, had a crisp skin very nice. Chips were crisp not greasy.
Definitely use again, recommend to others

Lovely food all the time! Been my local chippy since the 80s. Still stick with it ????
Very good a nice portion of kids fish and chips for £5.50 is ideal for me a small eater friendly staff too and very clean looking place kiddies meal takes longer as its cooked fresh.
We drive past 2 other chip shops to get here. Always lovely and cooked freshly to order.
