This restaurant was introduced by my friend and tried it a few times for dine-in. The food and services were quite nice. This week, it was my first time to return after the birth of my child. It was my first takeout (sliced beef noodles with chilli oil). I was in a rush to go home with my young baby for us to have dinner together, so I wasn't able to check what the server (May) gave to me. At home, I was excited to have my dinner in my disappointment they just served me with plain dried and hard noodles with chilli oil, no beef slice, no beef broth, just plain dried and hard noodles with oil and some onion leaks. We walked so far to drop by and ordered dinner there (if you are a mother of a young baby you know how it feels to look forward to something you are craving for dinner) and there was no way for me to return and bring my baby back to exchange for the right one, I tried to eat it but the noodles were so dried that it was sticking together when pulled out from the box, it ended up going to the bin, I paid the full amount and it wasn't cheap to receive poor quality service and foods. I was so sad, I felt I was bullied. Now it's making sense why the servers were laughing while we were leaving.
That's unacceptable!

When I called them the next day to complain, the lady who answered the phone just hung up the phone to me, very rude! I hope the management of that restaurant can read this and do something.
For customers please check your take-outs before leaving this place, they will ask for full payment but they might not give the right order you ask for.
Very basic. But that doesn't mean bad. Home made noodles, maybe better than you have ever had. Very good, solid food. Very decent people. Recommended.
No frills but good food
Simple set up, basically casual dining experience. Good hearty satisfying bowl of noodles at roughly £10. Seating on street level as well as down stairs. Often you will see the chef hand pull the noodles in the back. We arrived at 430, so it was before the dinner rush. Waited roughly 10-15 mins for our steaming bowl of noodles. The lady who served us was very friendly. Would definitely recommend, big portions. The noodles had a nice soft chew to them . The pork won tuns had were juicy. The beef flank was full of flavour. Order at the counter and they will bring your meal out to your table.

The noodles were incredible! Hand pulled and made to order - they were perfect. Also very reasonably priced at £10-11 for a bowl that will definitely fill you up!
This place is okay but could be much better.
The ma po tofu dish was sadly quite horrible and big disappointment. It was a packet sauce and then tofu blocks but the sauce had a horrible overbearing powder ginger flavour and that was all. None of the other ingredients of mapo tofu were in it.
The beef flank noodle soup was good in theory but did not have nearly enough broth so was mostly eating plain noodle. The broth was good but ended up thick and none of it and the beef flank was nice but very fatty and a bit sweet I thought.
The dim sum were nice though.
The service was very friendly and they were good with topping up water.
Price is okay but I wouldn’t say cheap or great value.
The place doesn’t have loads of atmosphere upstairs but may be due to the high ceiling and draught, and white paint.
炸酱面 here is so good! Really authentic ☺️ portion is huge. 2 people can share one dish. tastes just like home. The shop has a homely feeling. The lady running the shop is friendly friendly and warm. Thank you so much
I highly recommend this place to everyone who likes Chinese cuisine because - when you enter this place, you are greeted by the staff, a very nice lady who holds a menu in her hands and encourages you to use the services of the place. The food is tasty and fresh, with an oriental scent floating around and, most importantly, very clean.
My first experience of authentic Cantonese food and couldn’t have asked for better. Food was delicious, and staff were very kind and welcoming. Great portions for very good prices.
