Busy pharmacy which is not my local one so I can't comment too much, however I found it pretty chaotic in my request for a replacement vaccination certificate. Was unresolved until a very helpful and professional young man took it upon himself to sort the situation. Could improve some of their systems and processes
Big space, includes a Vaccination clinique (Flu, COVID etc). People seemed very nice, but the flow (in/out &inside) needs remodeling. The position near the Health centre makes the acces a bit confusing, clients get through thd wrong doors often.
They are good care and very busy too.
I have been here for smear test and changing my IUS
Building open at 8am but lewisham community sexual health & HIV service FFT open at 10am
Unpleasant staff; terrible system in place for collecting prescriptions, you have to write on a paper and they hand them to the back of house to process so there is no order to the procedure and often papers get lost so have frequently had a large number of people served before me due to the disorganised collection system. Seemingly no desire to improve this when some plan for improvement would improve the process for everyone staff included.
Usually an ok experience but today I needed asthma medication delivered as ran out and have COVID but told the driver has already gone so need to wait until Monday. Can I suggest that you have a second delivery on a Friday afternoon to ensure people have the meds they need.
I used to get my prescription from this pharmacy but after my last unpleasant experience I decided not too. I have a medical exemption certificate because I’m on thyroid medication. The pharmacist decided call me into a room to interrogate me on what medication I can or cannot have with my a medication exemption card which I showed to her to proof that I have my exemption card. Without any apology She then said well if the doctor was to prescribe me some pain medication like paracetamol that I won’t be allowed to get the medication on with medication exemption certificate. I replied that I will contact the NHS business authority service to get clarification as she’s the only person who to say otherwise on what medications I was entitled to. Not sure what the pharmacist intentions were but I felt humiliated and was treated unfairly considering the fact that I showed proof that I had a medication exemption card. So I won’t be returning to this pharmacy.
I went there today around lunchtime for my booster shot. The staff there were super friendly and helpful. All were very organized and it took only a few minutes to get the vaccine, didn’t need to queue at all. I was a bit worried when reading some negative reviews of this place and thought I would share this positive experience with people who are considering going to this facility to get their booster!
This review is for the vaccination centre which I visited today. Great service and nice staff, walk-in service is so friendly for people like me who are not sure if they can attend an appointment, no pressure at all. But next time, I’ll try to book in, as you do skip the walk-in line if you have a booking.
