By far the best fish and chips i’ve ever had, fish is cooked perfectly, not oily like most places, and the battered sausage is amazing, 35 minute round trip but worth it every time.
It’s always heartening to walk into a chippie and feel like it’s clean and clear with a nice welcome.
Got chips on recommendation and wasn’t disappointed with hearty portions and surprisingly quick.
Had a look at the rest of the food and seems like you can get your pies, sausages, kebabs and usual fish fare - would go back.
While you wait, it has one of the loveliest views of a farm field!
Just had Large Cod and fish from here. Must say what a nice surprise. Beautifully cooked. Ordered on the way home and very reasonably priced as well. I will definitely be using again. Should have taken picture before I started chomping away. (already eaten half) keep up the good work????????????
Popped in yesterday purely based on the reviews. The chips were definitely amazing. Fish cooked perfectly. I asked for a salad which was huge. Nice touch being told to enjoy which I did. The salad fresh and crunchy. Will deffo visit again when next in this part of the world.
Food always nice and hot, much nicer and cheaper than the on site Haven fish bar, much better selection too.
E are normally ordering for 12-14 people, never have to wait long, and in half a dozen visits, never had a wrong order.

Leaving a review on behalf of my elderly parents who ordered from here last night and were overcharged by 50p (or charged 50p for a carrier bag!). Yes it's only 50p but it's the principle. The price was questioned multiple times and the server was adamant that his calculations were correct. The food was good apparently, hence three stars for the food but needless to say none of our family or friends will be returning any time soon. Times are hard for everyone, especially OAPs. Shame.
