I must say I enjoyed the chopped chicken white bread cheese sandwich I had here today. ???? very yummy indeed. I sure will be coming back again to test something else and hopefully, they meet the same standard.
If you're around Gravesend, come check them out and give them a try. The two middle age ladies working here seems to have a ton of experience making best of them sandwiches so I'm sure they'll blow your socks off (finger cross) buy I certainly enjoyed my sandwich.

Shocking service these women that work here are so rude. I like to support small business but this one clearly doesn’t want to remain open. I have noticed from other reviews they are particularly rude to anyone who is not white but to clarify I’m a white woman and I’ve never been treated so poorly by a business. Will never come back!
Great little bakery. Only problem is they start packing up well too early!
Just visited, not even 1230, sandwich fillers all packed away, no more sandwiches being made.... It's only just lunch!
That being said, reasonable value. Just wish they catered for those who want lunch at lunchtime.
Just went in and got some lovely food. The lady serving me asked me if i wanted a bag and i said yes. She just put the bag on top of the counter and didnt pack my food in the bag for me. Which i find it rude. As other shops put things in for me. There were like 7 items that needed to go into the bag.
Good old fashioned bakery with massive traditional cakes at a reasonable price. They also sell savouries, bread and sandwiches to order but I only had eyes for the cakes!
Oh my goodness. Where do I begin.
If you are colour of skin then this is not the place for you. These old ladies are all racists and only seem to enjoy serving white people. Rude on every occasion but not sure why I gave them a second chances in the first place but nothing changes.
Absolutely disgusted that in today’s day and age people still act like this.

These reviews all seem fake to me. Not impressed at all. No customer service skills at all.
But I am sure karma will play its cause and get you back.

Im absolutely disgusted with the service I received today at this bakery! Im 6ft 4 in height but these ladies have made me feel so small and unwelcome. I was ignored and frowned upon as soon as i entered. Its funny how the white gents received first class service and i was just left standing there untill they saw fit and just about acknowledge me. What was most disheartening was a young brown lad also came in at the same time on his school lunch break in his school uniform and received the exact same treatment. Its a shame these ladies mind set is still in the stone ages. As a community Gravesend seem to have come a long way. However these ladies just let everyone down but most of all themselves as they are clueless on customer service and just think its okay to dismiss people of colour. Shame on you ladies!!
Great place to grab a sandwich staff are always friendly polite and chatty always use this bakery don't go anywhere else
