Nice local takeaway. Good spread of dishes. Food was fresh, tasted lovely and the portions were good. Prices are fair. Overall value for money.
I asked for beef curry fried rice with no peas I got peas more rice than beef hardly any curry sauce I spent half my meal picking the peas out the other half lacking in curry sauce was so dry I couldn’t eat it won’t be using this take out again
Was very disappointed was recommended by a few people looked really nice well presented started with pork yuk sung was sweet but just thought that’s how they make it then we had beef in black bean sauce and special chow mein and that was sweeter than the yuk sung like it had been cooked with half a bag of sugar never had Chinese that sweet you can’t eat much and not a very nice after taste thought we had found best Chinese again failed
We have had mee fong for 50 years but tonight was the worst food we ever had and it wears anniversarie treat it was disgusting have they changed the chef or wot needs sacked not ever gonna order ever again and that’s saying something from us after a 50 years I want a refund for our meal we had to throw away
Lovely chicken Maryland, prices have been hiked up alot over night since original review I don't believe it to be good value anymore all our meals gone up by £2 to £3 each more
Unfortunatly not a great experience, ordered for the first time as was recommened by someone else, placed order and was told an hour waiting time. Waited an hour and half still no food so phoned back took ages to answer to then be told it is an hour and half wait.. even though he said first was an hour and we waited over hour and half.. extreamly rude on the phone and then continued to put the phone down and not answer again... will not be in a rush to order again and havent even seen the food let alone eat any!
Ordered from here last night because our usual Chinese Takeaway was closed for annual leave, but unfortunately it was a huge waste of £25 and ruined our evening.
We had a chicken curry which was quite watery and lacked any real flavour. The chicken chow mein was also tasteless and the chicken had a slimey texture to it, so we most definitely couldn't eat that.
I was really disappointed with it all to be honest and will not order from here again. It ruined our evening, was a waste of money and we all ended up being still hungry.
In future, when my regular is closed, I will go without until they reopen!
Food was cooked nice, except for me steak was a little bit over season, don't like pepper, you can add but can't takeaway. Drinks where a bit pricey,
