Took my car in for an MOT and 4 wheel alignment. I always find MOT time to be pretty stress inducing so the good service and friendly face at reception was appreciated. Cost was very reasonable, the MOT failed on headlight alignment and emissions but the headlight was adjusted and the tester spent the time to warm up the cat to get it through emissions. Also noted down a couple of things to advise on that weren't testable/not logged as MOT advisories which is appreciated. They seem to be pretty busy so better to book in before you receive any MOT reminder. The car park opposite is free if you are worried about where to park.
Terrible. Will never go there again I waited over 6 weeks to get a simple brake overhaul done ,but when the day came they couldn't be bothered to even look ...more interested in the easy jobs for new cars.
Have known john that owns and run maylane for yrs, always found them to be open and honest on what needs doing wether it's an M.O.T or service or some other problem with your car,

Excellent workshop garage. Did a quick service on an electric car. No nasty surprises. Good reception. Easy parking in the car park opposite. Called when the car was ready to pick up.

Very quick, reliable, honest and friendly. John and his team are a pleasure to deal with and very reliable. They did a stirling job fixing a coil on my friend's BMW in super-quick time.
Fantastic garage with helpful knowledgeable staff. I took my honda goldwing trike here to have several things put right, including the brakes and was very happy with the service I received.
A good trustworthy garage is so important & I would happily return with my trike, car or motorbike.
