Third place of trying to get Mary's pasties on a Saturday morning. Took them on a hike around the Roseland and sat down to eat them half way. OmG I now know why people say they are good. The chocolate cakes were yummy too. ????
For me Mary's Pasty's are second only yo my Mums. Good balance of meat, turnip, onion and potato well seasoned in tasty pastry

Lovely pasty and timed it just right and had that perfect temperature with lots of juices running down the end of the pasty crimp onto my hand. Managed to eat it just 6 mouthfuls as I am a binge eater but the pasty was adequate in size (I’m just a monster eater). Very nice !!!
Mary`s pasties are up and down like a yo yo, one day they are edible the next day they are horrendous, bought two today, pastry split in several places resulting in rock hard meat where it is split, uncooked potato and some grit thrown in for good measure, that cracked a tooth !! a while ago if the pastry was split Mary`s used to sell these a bit cheaper, now they are sold at full price, they have had trouble with the pastry splitting for ages, surely they could have sorted that by now ?? I have been a good customer of Mary`s in the past but i am afraid that it ends here, not happy !!
