Excellent open fields and woods to take the family or just walk the dog. Lovely staff/ owners and fantastic home made food and drinks. Free to get in and walk around you just pay for the food and drinks if you want any. There is a lovely kids play area. You can leave a donation to say thankyou to them if you wish also. There is now a New Mini Obstacle course in doggy training field. This area can be hired out. Overall really nice on a lovely sunny day like this.
Really lovely discovery today! Had a nice gentle walk around, spoke to the owners, Alan & Hayley who were very welcoming and gave us lots of useful information. We had a delicious fruit scone with fresh cream and homemade preserve. Even ordered a Birthday cake!!
we arrived today and were suprised about the place for our camper. a walk throu the woodland was very nice and peaceful

Really helpful owner showed me maps and were I could go with dog. On lead. Great as this means I don't have hassle with other owners dogs bothering mine who is nervous. Haven't been back yet but definately will. Love this is a place for wildlife and nature ignore the negative comments from some.
Great place for an afternoon stroll with the family. Unfortunately due to the pesky covid situation the tea room wasn't open so am not able to give feedback on this. We were greeted by a very friendly chap who I presume was the owner who explained he would normally give a guided tour but was unable to as he was busy, we didn't mind this as we like to explore.
This is a good woodland walk,
the owners were very friendly and informative.
We took our dogs for a nice walk followed by a hot chocolate in the train carriage.
This was our first visit, and we will definitely return.
A really lovely place to spend a few hours. Lovely woodland walk. Fantastic little cafe in an C19th railway carriage. The owner showed us around a it was our first visit, and was really interesting learning about the farm and his move from agriculture to nature, and plans to make it sustainable.would definately recommend.
NOT A DOG WALK. Very disappointing. Don't know the area and this was the first place to come up on Google as a dog walk. Dogs are not allowed off lead. Very short walk.
Arrived with my mother at 3.30pm on a sunny Saturday, we were the only car there, very short walk around 3 small woodland areas, a house, caravan and 2 yurts.
Spoke to a staff member when we arrived who advised the walk can be confusing so to take a picture of the map. Advised there is a tea room also. Tea room was closed at 3pm. Allowed my well behaved spaniel off lead in the woodland, whilst putting him back on lead to go back across the road 1 staff member called my dog over to pet but an older woman said "Put your dog on lead" which I did. Carried on walking and let the dogs off in the empty woodland. As the walk took 15/20 mins only when we got back to the empty open field I threw the ball 3-4 times for the dogs. A man (presumably the owner) came over to us shouting across the empty field that we needed to put the dogs on lead. They immediately recalled and went back on lead. Not being satisfied with this, he came over to us and was very angry. Told us that my mother and I were the worst dog walkers he'd met and was angry that the dogs had been off lead. We asked why he was so angry and he said it was because its private property and we were upsetting the wildlife. I find it bizarre that 2 well behaved dogs in an empty open field would upset the wildlife anymore than the child's play area, tea room and hundreds of cars that come and go on the property.
Unfortunate. Good for children and tea between the specific hours of 11-3 but if you have a dog I would give it a wide berth.
