The mixed Donner sizzler is unbelievably good you have so much to choose from the customer service is the best I've ever seen in a takeaway the staff always greet you with a smile and never disappoint. I would recommend this place to those that want to try something unique.
Afters years of being a loyal ukfc (duckworth bd8) customer i finally switched as their fillet sizes were taking the pi#s so decided to try maliks based on reviews. I wasn’t disappointed, nice big fillets, spicy actually had some spice to it and their menu is alot more vast compared to other chicken places in area, food hit the spot and so they now have another loyal customer.
Good portion had chicken and donner stir fry with chips ???? bit spicy for me. But tasty and only 7 quid. Burger meals 3.50 ???? clean and tidy staff very friendly
A brilliant addition to Manningham Lane. The food is really good. The stand out item here has the be the Special Turkish Kebab. It has it all, chicken, donner, chips and quality fresh salad.
Good place for a take away, have a decent site dine in area with a handwash (sink). Alot of take aways lack this so it's a bonus. Have verity of sauces and a great menue to choose from.
Improvements:
Could improve on the quality of donner they use as it taste very cheap, bland and dry..
Unfortunately was not overly impressed with Malik's.
I ordered the £5 box and a 2 piece meal and went around 6-7 so expecting it to be peak hours.
The fillet was barely warm and the chips were dreadful. The coating on the thigh pieces was pretty average also. The donner is basically the same one you get in tubs from Adam's or any other cash and carry these days.
Taste wise however the spicy fillet was fine, if not the best.
Ok if you're stuck for choice but certainly not the best fried chicken place on Manningham Lane. Definitely room for improvement
Edit - July22 So been to Malik's a couple of times recently instead of driving up to UKFC on Duckworth Lane recently and the food has been spot on. Fillets just as good as UKFC and great sizes and the fried chicken spot on. Always have the pieces you ask for too so have become my go to chicken place now.
They also do beef steak on chips which looked and smelled pretty decent so will try them at some point
Delicious food, came to try it after seeing a Tiktok recommendation.
