Trust me don’t go there. It is the Mistake you will regret your whole life. Malik Akbar Ali is a fraud himself. He took our case and said he can fight for our case in tribunals and if we didn’t succeed in first and upper tribunals then he will go to high court. We never saw him again. He would never pick up phone. Instead he gave our case to another person Mian Zeshan who I doubt if is an immigration solicitor. He is not even registered with law society for immigration. Despite charging high fee, he never showed interest in our case. I am saying this not because I think it’s a Solicitor’s fault when you lose a case but because he never was professional. He will also not respond to calls or emails and if he would that will be too late. Their service is not professional at all. He would leave everything to be done on the last day. The statement he gave in the courts on behalf of me was in conflict with my statements. He wrote I have all of my family in U.K. but I do have family in home country which had lots of negative impact on my case.
I wish you would read this before giving any case to this firm. Though they have changed their name now to immigration law solicitors but once a fraud is always a fraud. We didn’t know before going to this firm but you have choice please don’t! I wish I didn’t have to give this firm even one star.
Very unprofessional, irresponsible, time and money wasting solicitors ever. They took my case and let me know only after few months the case is rejected and trapped me in the middle whether i should do case further or not as after 14 days, i am already overstayer. They deserve to be shut down every time they open their firm. Avoid this firm or else u will regret whole life.
I did family based application from this firm. I got to know my application has been rejected after nearly 2 months. Staff are very very unprofessional rubbish rude i would never advise anyone to go there. They will never care your case only thing they care is about their fee. They are Dishonest, careless and unprofessional ever. must be shut down immediately. whoever giving good comment are their own staff, people or very easy case
I had a similar experience as most of the people here. I was given incorrect advise by Mr Malik and unfortunately my visa was rejected. Getting hold of my case worker was a nightmare. You had to wait on the line for an hour or so just to know that they are not available. If I can sum up my experience in one one word it would be "unprofessional"
I went to another lawyer and he handled my case really professionally and now I have my Permanent Residence.
All in all, I would NOT recommend "Malik Law" to anyone!
I dont understand the negative feedback here but will share my experience which ended me up with ILR. My case number was B0783. The whole team was very friendly since day 1. I was the first time client so I went to Dr. malik first (paid £25 consultation fee) and he listened to my case very carefully and guided me professionally and in detail. I would like to mention that Dr. malik gave me the option to go for premium service and advised that i wouldnt have any issues but i was reluctant and asked him to deal with my case so i never got any feeling that Dr. malik was after my money otherwise he wouldn't have given me option of premium service and risk loosing client. Afterwards my caseworker 'Ali' was very helpful and whenever i called reception, i was put straight through to him without any hassle and 'Ali' would advise me thoroughly and in detail on progress of my case. He was never in hurry and listened to all my concerns and answered in details. Brilliant guy. The receptionist was a pleasant lady and courteous every time i called in. Overall I had a pleasant experience with this firm and i would recommend them to my friends and family.
Some improvements i would also like to suggest:
1) When they received my ILR, they sent me letter same day informing me about my ILR but it was 2nd class stamped letter meaning i had to wait couple of days to receive the news. I suggest it will be better if they give client a call as well (which is very quick way to inform client) or send them text on their mobiles or leave voicemail (in case client doesn't pick up because of any reason). It did make me wonder why didn't they call me to inform me about receiving my ILR, instead of me waiting for their letter and being informed then. I was never contacted on my mobile for updates despite the fact they had my number. Thats the only drawback i came across with this firm and if rectified, it is the best firm and team i have come across so far.
2) No doubt they offer great service and advise but i do feel the fee they charge is a bit high (i would like to clearly mention that i was given option to pay in instalment and wasn't rushed at all to pay remaining fee and i thank them for that) but if they can review their fees, that would really help people who are facing financial difficulty as immigration is very costly and every little helps.
Overall a brilliant experience and nice friendly staff, no rudeness at all and all went smoothly and got my ILR. Thank You
I would not suggest anyone to go to Malik Law Chambers. They only know how to rip off the money from your pocket ending up loosing the case even though the case is still on your favour. Better suggest your to process on your own and rather than going to them. Also their fees are very high as they pick barrister from different law firm on £2/300 and charge you £1250 which is absolutely not fair. I call them as a fraud rather than a solicitor.
I went to Malik Law recently about my wife case to get advice, I have lost the hope. But they have dealt with it so professionally that I am surprised and eventually my wife got the visa. I would strongly recommend Malik Law for their professional service.
