Best KPortal Reviews
Lovely little cosy Asian restaurant tucked away in Tottenham. Food was sublime with a great selection of dishes and signature sauces, at extremely reasonable pirces, and the staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. 10/10 will definitely be visiting again
This is one of my favourite go to places, I happily order from here every week. The food is delicious and such a hidden gem in this area. Get yourself a large bowl and pick your favourite, delicious meats. You can't go wrong! Never change, Makimayo! ♥️
This cozy little gem is the best Chinese/Asian restaurant around. We ordered beef noodles and their classic fried chicken on rice with their signature spicy mayo sauce.
Firstly, the chicken was cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside, and tender and juicy on the inside. It was evident that the chicken had been marinated before being fried, as it was bursting with flavor. The batter was light and crispy, not overly greasy, and had just the right amount of seasoning.
The sauce was the star of the dish. It had a perfect balance of spicy and sweet, with a touch of tanginess that complemented the chicken perfectly. I could tell that the sauce was made with high-quality ingredients and had been cooked to the perfect consistency.
The service at the restaurant was excellent as well. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and my food arrived quickly after ordering. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and I enjoyed the music playing in the background.
Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious Asian fusion restaurant, serving a variety of excellent dishes. I'll definitely be returning to this restaurant soon!
Disappointing experience. Did google search for Korean restaurant and this came up. Turns out to be fusion having a variety of Chinese, Thai and Korean dishes. I ordered Tofu in peanut sauce and couldn't taste any peanuts, very bland. The side dish of spicy greens was also very chewy - lots of spitting stuff out. And it was pricey - the side dish greens was £11 and bill came to over £35 for a starter, a main dish, a side dish and two beers. Service was excellent but doesn't make up for the poor overpriced food.
Ordered this on deliveroo for the first time and the taste was amazing. Good value, well coated chicken and squid. Sauces where really nice and really fast service. Will definitely be back.
This is my go to spot on deliveroo for crispy Korean chicken with honey butter sauce ????
It’s amazing. I tried it from their branch in Wood Green and the taste and quality was so subpar in comparison in really made me appreciate this location more!
Food is always really hot, well packaged and still tastes good the next day.
I haven’t tried eating in but if it’s as good as its chicken then I’m down.
I did try other things from their menu and was left disappointed but the crispy chicken is what they do best in my opinion
Yum there are no other words ! It’s just tooo nice food has so much flavour ! If you not into bland food this is the place to go . I travel from far to come here wish there was one near me.
I really really wanted to like this place as I've been experimenting with Korean food in the kitchen so I know exactly what to expect. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the tteokbokki (the first photo), the rice cakes weren't cooked properly, the dish had a mix of artificial fish - (crab sticks and fish cakes) it did have a few squids and prawns which was nice, the noodles were fine, the sauce was as expected and the egg.. Well I can barely eat s freshly boiled egg let alone an egg that was made hours ago ????. I'd rate it 4/10, I did also find a hair in my food which made me feel sick, they did make me another dish but by then I had lost my appetite. I know that can happen anywhere, but with a hygiene rating of 5 then I expect nets on hair please! .
.
The fried calamari and fried prawns were lovely! They had lots of different sauces to pick from. They were also serving their famous fried chicken that they got so famous for (I didn't try it but apparently It was nice), the egg fried rice was nice and while the rice portion was big it would be nicer if the prawns, chicken and calamari came in big portions too. The tteokbokki was a good portion but other than that I wasn't impressed as I read reviews about big portion sizes but I was sitting there wondering whether I was a pig or the reviewers are genuinely not big eaters? .
Prices were decent, not expensive at all.
.
Overall the place gets 3/5, sorry but it wasn't for me this time
