5 stars, absolutely brilliant service from Michael and the team at m8 pitstop. I never write reviews but the service I received from Michael warranted recognition.
After showing vauxhall astra to multiple garages due to a loud air pressure noise coming from the engine. I chose to m8 pitstop after speaking with Michael. Who explained the issue as a cracked dpf sensor pipe which needed to be replaced he consulted with me prior to doing the repair and had completed the job within an hour. Unfortunately the day later I had some follow up issues with my car going into limp mode and not having enough power. After speaking with Michael again he was able to see me on the same day and thoroughly explained the steps I needed to take to rectify the limp mode. The advice Michael gave was spot on and the car issues are resolved very effectively and professionally.
Overall I had a great experience and this has now become my regular garage for services and repairs.
I repaired my car in this place, and they called and said that the car needs a battery so that they can do the maintenance or they will stop and that the price of the battery is 220 pounds!!! Is this reasonable price for the battery? They took advantage of my car's need for the battery and raised the price. Also, upon receiving my car and going home, I found that they did not return the engine protection cover, and it was returned to them and they returned the cover. The lack of accuracy and interest in the contents of the engine. Expensive prices. I do not recommend repairing the car with them if the situation continues like that. But to be honest, they are good professionals.
Very good first experience. I was having problems with my car. I was messed around a lot by some garages, including VFR motor services (Shaftesbury road), who never honoured any of my appointments and never bothered to get back to me regarding quote for new battery. My absolutely worst experience was with bhav mistry (millennium autos on fosse road). I don't know what that incompetent idiot did, but my car was much worse for the wear after his supposed repair job. The engine kept cutting out and losing all power. Also, the engine was getting hot even on small journeys (0.5 mile to Lidl or Tesco). I phoned bhav, left voice message and even sent WhatsApp message about this problem, but he totally ignored me. Very dishonest and grossly unprofessional behaviour by bhav. He also charged double the amount to fit cheap brand lion battery. Rip off merchant. Anyway, an RAC engineer came to my house. He suspected some sort of contamination. He advised to change air and oil filters and engine oil (engine service). I bought all parts online and I spoke to Michal at M8. He booked me in next day and job was completed in two hours (I also got rid of the faulty budget lion battery and fitted a new branded battery). My car is now working as normal, although engine is still getting a bit hot on small journeys (this never used to happen before the useless idiot bhav mistry got his hands on my car, but this is another job for another day). Overall I am very happy with M8. Very good customer service and reasonable prices. Also, after job was done, Michal shook my hand and said thank you for using our services. It is a good sign when a business owner treats his customers with respect. From now on, I will use M8 as my mechanic. I will not waste my time and effort on other mechanics. I highly recommend M8 pitstop.
Good price for a repair that needed doing and they offer 12months warranty for parts and labour.
Excellent service again and again by Michał and his team. I have been woth M8PitStop now for around a year and very pleased with their service. Always honest and keen to explain what the problem is with a car and what really needs repalcing. Recently gone there totrobuleshoot car starting issues. They pinpointed it after couple of hours and repaired within two days. If not them I dont know if my car would start once more thise year!

Absolutely brilliant service. Completely kept up on proceedings, clear costings and take pride in their work. Was quoted silly money to repair suspension on my audi s8 v10 elsewhere. Brought it here, paid less than half! Car drives like a dream, having been a nightmare for well over a month. Highly recommended. Won't be going elsewhere ever again! Thank you.
